    Require assistance with Archaeology database!

If you've done some Archaeology yourself (the horror!) you'll notice that each digsite has an invariable set of spawn points for archaeology finds. My goal is to map all of these spawns as this will greatly speed up the surveying process (both for bots and people).

It's a rather boring task to do this alone (also subjected to rng) so does anyone know if such a database already exists? (made by addons, sites such as wowhead, thottbot etc)

If not, I'll post what I have here and would appreciate it if people contributed to this db.

Well you can convert the map coords to X,Y coords without too much trouble. Depends if you need Z.

mmo-champ recently had a frontpage entry about an addon that could save these cords for you wich might be of use to you: MMO-Champion - Archy, Mysterious Fortune Card, Thrall Then and Now, Kinect WoW, Blue Posts
It wouldn't wonder me if there's a user DB for this on curse the same way there's a DB for gatherer

Yeah I guess you can. But I've noticed when running gathermate that the icons on the minimap are quite inaccurate some times.

Full precision map coördinates are accurate enough once converted.

Not going to bother with math this late, but I doubt 1 decimal will give me the accuaracy I'd like... will check later this week...

    GatherMate 2 Archeology Data
Check this topic, there is already database with A LOT of potential spawn points. Moreover, there is my database #1419219 - Pastie I dug only in EK, added plenty of troll/dward/fossil dig sites. Cheers.
