As I have noted earlier I have not had that much time off to spend on wow hacking for some time, and that did turn out to be a great thing.
Here a few days ago I got a brilliant idea on how to force area triggers to "trigger" and ignoring the conditions (being a serverside position check).
Normally if you create a fake trigger event nothing will happen unless you are within the area assigned to the trigger. But with a little tinkering you can make wow accept "something" that it does not usually accept and that resulting in a working area trigger spawner.
Now the portals you see in this shot have nothing to do with it. it is not serverside portals, it is just my front end so I can see where I place the trigger area.
Sofar all portal related triggers have worked. Most event triggers don't work (obviously enough).
Thoes who know area triggers might know the scale of this hack.

Thanks to gNOm for the ASM trigger:wave:.
