Didn't wait for Keplar because there's always something new coming and it's pointless to keep waiting imo. You could ask the same thing about why I didn't wait for Ivy Bridge. If it's worth it I'll just buy a Keplar chip when they are (finally/eventually) released. My motherboard supports PCIe 3.0 so it doesn't matter either way.

Looks pretty badass. I personally find that gaming at those resolutions (5760x1200 here) is much worse than 1920x1200. Most games tend to look ****ed up and you have the borders of the monitors ruining a great deal.
What does Nvidia have that lets you run that resolution btw? I seem to remember them not having anything that could do that (and you needed to get a TripleHead2go). AMD has EyeFinity.

3D Surround Technology

You don't have to enable 3D mode. 2D surround works just as well. Effectively the same as Eyefinity. Just enable SLI spanning mode (which I leave disabled unless gaming, because I like having the monitors operate 'independently' when working) and you're good to go.

It's a pain in the ass to get Dr Pepper here.

Steam is awesome, and Origin sucks but I can't play Battlefield 3 without it, so whatever.

Triple monitor master race reporting in.

I have recently bought a system (couple of months back) with similiar specs (2600k, 16Gb 1833, SLI GTX 580, 256 SSD, 2TB WD Black). The Corsair cooler (I have the H50 due to case restraints) has served me very well. It's a blast to game (and dev) on. And as MaiN said, most games scale horribly with multiple monitors, the ones I found most enjoyable are BF3, AC:R and even WoW.

Oh and your font became a bitch to read.

BF3 is the game I'm playing most at the moment, so the high res works nicely there. I jumped on Counter Strike though and it was just annoying, so I disabled it there.

It's not perfect everywhere, but it definitely is better in some games (and it gives you a bit of an extra 'edge' over the 1920x1200 players who can't see as much of the game world as you).

As I told you, I don't know these guys, even if I play on aegwynn. I killed deathwing heroic, some days before the fix, but alone. I thought you guys shared it, so I decided to kill deathwing in the heroic mode.

We never shared the quest exploit until it was totally useless (XP and gold quests were all 100% fixed). We NEVER shared the kill hack with anyone but you. And you discussed AND gave it to someone, because they were curious?

Got an overclock to 4.6Ghz stable with memory running at XMP specs (32GB @ 1866 CL10). Screenshot taken after running 5 passes with IBT on Maximum, which is pretty much a worst case scenario as far as CPU and memory stress goes (notice the memory usage graph, basically the entire 32GB was saturated by the test). It also ran stable with 10 passes on Very High. I had just started Prime95 in the screenshot so CPU-Z reported the correct multiplier etc, and I'll probably leave that running for 6 or so hours, but as far as I'm concerned if it can survive IBT on Maximum then it's rock solid.

Temps never go within 10 degrees Celsius of TJMax which is an acceptable 'buffer' imo. Especially given that under 'high load' in normal circumstances (rather than a synthetic test) the temps are generally 20-30 degrees off TJMax.

I'd still like to hit 4.8Ghz, but to do that I'd have to raise the vcore to a point where the temps get too high for my liking. I still may do it, but I'm gonna need to replace the fans on the H100 and probably use a push-pull config (which thankfully the case looks to have room for).

I think I'm done for a while though. 4.6Ghz rock solid in worst-case scenario at below 1.4v vcore seems respectable given I'm not running a custom water loop (I'm super lazy).

EDIT:

Prime95 temps are capping out at about 20 degrees from TJmax, which seems ot me to be closer to 'real world' load levels. So I'm happy with that.
