I don't mean to be hostile, but what the hell? Why would someone use this over say.. the feature-rich MemHack?
Warden doesn't even scan outside of its own process, so ofcourse it's going to be undetected.
Nothing is undetectable.
@kynox
MemHack is german.
Maybe it isnt undetectable, but it got like 1% of caught chance.
And nobody even PM'ed me so i think it will be a late release.
@Everyone
So if someone got any vb skills, im still looking for you.
Passwords and why link when there are no links to anyone who see it?
You need to do alot more to make it interesting.
The most commonly used memory editors are 'detected' and will result in a "final warning" if used unpatched. But its still super easy to circumvent.
So overall I do understand didadonny's point but still...
Scan.dll picking them up does not mean they are detected. Scan.dll scans outside of the WoW address space, so it can pick up just about anything.The most commonly used memory editors are 'detected' and will result in a "final warning" if used unpatched. But its still super easy to circumvent.
Warden on the other hand has no way to detect an app such as MemHack (in its current form).
I assume you mean the developer..because the client itself is in english.MemHack is german.
1. What Malu may be referring to is the fact certain people report bans from CE. This is due to them using the injected features such as the speedhack. I assume they are being detected because warden is picking up the DLL it injects to do its dirty work, rather than the program itself.
2. MHS is feature rich as kynox already pointed out, and there is no reason to use your program over MHS. The fact you're saying that it is detectable and yours is undetectable shows just how little you know about WoW and Warden.
3. Scan.dll is NOT Warden. Be careful when comparing the two and trying to derive common detections, it doesn't work that way.
4. Nothing is undetectable, stop being such an ignorant twat.
5. VB Skills is an oxymoron.
6. Why the hell do you need a user/pass for a memory editor? The program is entirely client side.
7. You want a "dev team" for a VB memory editor? I lold.
wow Cypher... I noticed you bag people out alot. lol
But on the other side not a program that is needed...
--- Thanks Enfeebleness
Actually Cypher, if I remember correctly, you said that Scan.dll WAS a part of Warden, but not anything to worry about.
Yay, I think i actually corrected Cypher which is not often done! =D /dance I'ma do a quick search to see if i can find the post...
EDIT: meh... cant find it. maybe it was Kynox?... i'm /tired =(

I said it was part of Warden as a whole when talking about the technology in general. It is not part of what Blizzard describes as the 'warden client' and that is what was meant by my invocation of the term in that post, sorry for any confusion.
For the purposes of this discussion the rest of warden is irrelevant, for the purposes of the other discussion the rest of warden was relevant, due to the differences in the nature of the discussion I changed what was inferred by the use of the word. You will note that I pointed out you can't compare what is detected by the two, therein lies the difference, because I am talking about what is detected and will get you banned, rather than a discussion of Warden as a whole. Again, apologies for any confusion.
Furthermore, your correction was grammatical at best, c'mon, you can do better than that.![]()
Warden could for example hash all loaded dlls and send the result to Blizzard, the server could then compare the hashs against a blacklist and flagg the account if there's a positive result.
Of course there are other ways warden may use to detect CEs speedhack, like looking for a certain detour (also with a memory hash).
