WTF Fishing ?

So I've noticed over the past few months interest in fishing has exploded.. people just all up in the fish bot threads asking for updates..

WTF are people suddenly so interested in fishing for ?

It has always been lucrative.. so that's not really news..

Anything other than people just now finding out about the 2 turtle mounts acquirable via the Garrison pond ?

I think its the raid groups fishing, allowing you to increase your odds for the mounts. But you need level 3 garrison / fishing shack. And that takes a lot of fishing to get. Unless new fish are dropping, like when Cata pre patch came out you could find new fish.

I've never found fishing to be lucrative. Boring, at best. Still don't understand how people willingly can do fishing hours on end without using a bot.

It'll always make money.. a way of diversifying your sales.. raw fish.. cooked food.. used to be a commodity for other things in MoPAgreed though boring by hand.. ha
