Best rotation bot?

I was a long-time user of PQR, was sad to see it go. Right now I'm using ProbablyEngine, but it seems like all of the profile devs are quitting WoW and/or stopping production and updates on their profiles. So I'm looking to jump ship to a better one, but I don't know where to go!

What other rotation bots are there out there, and which ones are the best supported? I'd prefer to not have to pay for one, but I will if it's actually worth it.

You can always learn to make your own rotation bots. It's unique and pretty good if you know game mechanics and theory crafting.

This 100%. Tried many rotation assistants including soap, and none did exactly what i wanted. Now i make my own that match my personal play choices far better than any others do. But they are just that, my personal play choices and other people may differ and prefer alternatives.

PE is really easy to learn if you wanted to, and there is a lot of support to be found on their IRC.

You should try TheNoobBot with Damage Dealer, you can easily edit the CombatClass if you feel like you can improve it.

Heh, I'm not a coder :-P I've taken some peeks at the PE classes, I've even tried to write one, but I don't understand the syntaxes, even with the 'wiki' up. I also don't know the proper rotations for most classes, when to use certain things, etc, as I'm no raider and I haven't legit played WoW without a rotation bot for at least 5 years. My problem with PE isn't so much that the classes they have are getting outdated, it's that they don't have the rotations I need for certain specs. Assassin Rogue, Enhancement Shaman, things like that.

I saw your post in regards to Soapbox Rotations. I have been a long time user of SBR and can only speak of great things when it comes to the program. Here is what I can tell you. It does have built in protection and they do have the ability if ever needed to take the auth servers down in a moments notice to ensure that everyone is safe. They have their own dedicated forums that you can get tons of feedback on in regards to rotations, a ticketing system for your input to be heard, and of course live chat support via Skype. The great thing about the program is that it can also be used in 64 bit mode wow, which most programs are not capable of being able to do that.

I made a rotation bot I've been using personally that uses screen image matching and the addon Ovale to work. It doesn't do anything in memory- simply matches images on the screen (that Ovale displays) to know what key to send next. I'm trying to gauge interest now to see if I should work on a version for public release.

You have actually the same idea I had, but i would not make it an automated bot. If possible making it so that the user just needs to spam 1 button. It is a thin line at this moment blizzard isnt really touching at the moment.

I am thinking of using a rotation bot on a boomkin alt of mine for raiding, due to a bad case of carpal tunnel. Handling rotation as well as movement and externals is getting to be quite painful.

With soapbox rotations, what sort of warcraftlog rankings are possible? I've read that honour buddy mostly has rotation bots that max out in the 60 percentiles or so. Before my hand flared up I was getting high 80s to low 90s, is soapbox capable of this level of play?

Also, i'd mostly like it for rotations rather than full automation. Is it possible to let it do the casting while I handle the movement?

Nope, there were quite a few who didn't trust the "safeness" of HB. And that's why we still have our accounts.
