PQI: "PQInterface has been blocked from an action..."

    Hello fellow Ownedcore members!

I've had this problem before and it has for some reason, eventually just stopped. This time that's not the case though. Whenever I initiate combat this pops up and PQR just wont do anything, I think PQInterface is the one doing the tainting, I have disabled every addon except PQInterface which I need to use in order for the profile I'm using to work at all (Rubim/Imdasandmans unholy dk profile). I've seen others have this problem and it' really, really annoying. Is this happening because PQI is outdated?

This is the message: "PQInterface has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI. You can disable this addon and reload the UI."

Thanks in advance for any help!

Edit: I disabled the PQInterface addon and when I initiated combat PQR did execute. This is not a viable solution for me though as I cannot switch between aoe/single target rotations nor properly execute my unholy dk rotation without it. I'm guessing PQInterface is the taint, what can I do to solve it?

Hey Aestysu! Thanks for the quick reply.

I re-installed PQI not long ago, but I'll try re-installing it once more. I'm guessing the wiki is the right source for the addon?

Edit: Re-installed the addon, did not fix the problem. I think PQI needs yet another update.

Step 2). Extract the contents of the zip.

(You should now have a folder in the same location as the Zip containing the profile package. If the folder contains a "Release Candidate, this is the one you will be using as it's the most recent)

Step 3). Open your PQR directory and copy over the two files inside the 'Release Candidate' Priest folder, into the Priest directory of your PQR folder.

Step 4). Now let's do the same for the data file(s).

Step 5.) Now let's install the PQInterface addon, download it from here.
Extract the contents from this as well and locate the "PQInterface" folder, this is what you'll want to install.

Make sure you enable out of date addons and you should now be completely set-up!

Gigantic post but I did this so it never has to be explained again, can simply link anyone to this specific guide in the future.
also not sure if you saw this but it may help as well thx to Kinkeh

Thanks for the reply mate! I tried the files you provided but to no avail. I will try just re-setting my entire UI and see if that fixes it, brb.

Oh my... well I deleted my ENTIRE UI and I'M PRETTY sure I've installed everything correctly, STILL WONT WORK (.

These issues have arised before when I turned on an addon that was not previously on, and it would taint like this. But now when there's NO OTHER addons installed I don't understand... I've read it could be something the Blizzard UI is ****ing up? Read in a post from MMO-Champion.

Edit: It would seem that the DK profile I'm using is causing these issues, as PQR works just fine on different profiles.

that error (combined with the fact that it only happens on that profile) most likely means that the profile is using a protected blizzard API. PQR unlocks most of them so that these errors don't happen and so that it can actually function.

Blizz might have recently changed a API function from usable to protected and that would be why it would just now start happening.
