Question about gather bot's

My question is why bots dont work on private servers;

- Could it be a easy change to make a bot work on private server?

- It must be a lock on the bot somehow?

And if i got a bot version for lets say 3.3.5.

- Is there anyway to change version to 2.4.3

- And here aswell it must be a lock on the bot somehow

Bots CAN work on private servers, the reason they often don't is that private servers don't keep up to date with retail patches!

Some bots(Priox) offer backward compatibility, but unfortunately all bots(that I know of) that used to do this have now stopped development.

Private Servers are often really easy to exploit and i'm sure you could replicate many XP exploits(which DO exist, as one was fixed on retail not so long ago).

I won't give any more information about the XP exploit as I am not allowed, so if anyone PM's me about it I will just ignore you!
