Questions about a 72 hour ban

So I just got a 72 hour ban for botting, first one on any accounts that I have. The thing is I also paid for 2 months of RAF as well.

Blizz did state in an email to me this morning that the ban was for botting/exploiting the game.

I'm curious if anyone else has had this scenario and what they did to resolve it? Ride the ban out and start playing again in 72 hours or appeal it?

My concern is, if I appeal it, they might look into the account further and notice the couple of months of RAF and ban me further.

Any suggestions or thoughts on this is appreciated.

If this is in the wrong forum I apologize and will move it if the mods can't move it first.

This. Don't bot for a few days. :P When you start back take it slowly, move to a different place, make your own route, etc. Should already have done this but... yeah.
