Is anyone else still successfully underground farming?

About 4 or 5 months ago, I wrote a fully functional underground mining/herbing farm bot, with speedhack/flyhack/noclip of course. Initially, it worked very well and I would very rarely get banned. About two months ago, though, my accounts started to get banned very frequently - to the point that I would start a trial account, and within 10 minutes the account would be banned. If I take the speedhack off, it will last longer - maybe 30 minutes, and then get banned.

I can't figure out what's causing the bans. I can fly around, speedhacking, underground for as long as I want with no problems - so it doesn't seem that Blizzard has detected my hacks. However, once I start actually mining/herbing I'll soon get banned.

I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth trying to continue figure out what is causing the bans, or if underground mining is basically broken. Any tips will be appreciated.

They probably have a fix on you personally. your name, IP, address, etc.

I've tried it from different IP addresses, different computers, and many of the accounts that I've been testing it on are trial accounts - so different names and everything. Non-trial accounts get banned just as quickly too.

I've heard people suggest that mining while under the terrain will get you flagged. Flying around under the ground won't get you banned since falling through the floor seems to be pretty common - they would end up banning a lot of innocent people if they auto-banned anyone under the terrain.

This theory makes sense to me. Sounds like you'll have to come to the surface to mine.

Tried that as well. I've also tried going above ground-->turn all hacks off-->kill any mobs near-->mine node, but it still gets me banned (albeit not as quickly). I haven't done any testing in about a month due to exams, but I was under the assumption that I was getting banned due to frequency of mining/herbing nodes - that I'm mining too much in too short a time. I tested that, though... after each time mining/herbing a node, I'd go underground and AFK for about 5 minutes before moving to the next node, to no avail. I've also tried doing it all by hand (with hacks of course), and still got banned.

I'm pretty much stumped on it. Curious if anyone else is still successfully underground gathering, though.

I heard they added an xyz type thing so if you mine at a certain z axis such as underneath a node a few times you are auto suspended and it is investigated.

Even with mining above the node I'm still suspended just as quickly

Is your x and y axis the same as the node? I'm also trying to figure out all the filters.

It's definitely not identical, since my movement isn't precise enough, but it's typically within a yard or two of the node's x and y. Sounds like that's definitely worth trying, when I get some free time I'll try it out. Are you also having issues with bans while underground farming?

Edit: On second thought, I doubt this is it - because even when I'm doing movement and interacting by hand (only with the hacks helping), I'm still getting banned.

Yep, I got banned with 3 classic accounts for underground mining after 10-20~ interactions. Changing the z axis didn't really helped.
