How come some PE profiles I find no longer work?

So I found some profiles on GitHub that I downloaded before for PE that used to work (just about a month ago). I was wondering why is it that when I activate them now that they don't work? Not all of them, just some of them, like for instance Tao's PE Mistweaver no longer activates when I turn it on in game, same thing goes for a few other ones. there are other profiles that say they haven't been updated in awhile, but they still turn on and work. Why is this?

i literally just used Tao's Mist today. Not sure what your doing wrong? you using an unlocker?

How are they not working? are they not listed in teh custom rotations when u righclick to chose ur rotation? or do u chose the rotation then it doesnt do anything?

Yes that is exactly what happens. It's listed for me to activate it, then when I do, it doesn't do anything. Where did you get Taos (PEMistweaver folder in addons) I got it from github and just rename it by taking off the -master. I've had it working before.

All the icons are up too. I select fistweaving and try to hit the dummy but it just doesn't activate!

Hey I use Taos mistweaver just fine on a regular basis, are you sure its not your lua-unlocker that is faulty?

Hmm maybe! Which one do you use.. ? Currently I use firehack

Alot of the rotations you have to use an ability to pull you intro combat. Try throwing a jab and see if you starts running.

Also make sure your in the correct stance. Wise serpent stance

Soap - using firehack of course as you recommend with your profiles (yours are working great, except the survival hunter one sometimes is a little buggy) but this profile Tao's mistweaver profile is giving me LUA errors.. any ideas?

Was also trying to use the Repaired's resto druid one on there, but that doesn't activate either

I attached my most updated version of pe and my collection of profiles. They should work. Including resto and taos mist.

Wow didn't see your post.. that's awesome. I wasn't sure which version I had, but I installed the one in your file. I still get LUA errors and the profile stops, but what I do is activate my other mistweaver profile (the Lightning weaver one) then switch back to Tao's and then it magically starts working.. so weird.

I'm starting to think something is wrong with my setup some place.. I tried to use codemylife's monk routine too that was located in your file and I just kept getting LUA errors.. arrrrr!!!

Code my life only works with pqi installed. Which I don't recommend. PLZ note that I have made a few tweaks here and there to various profiles. I'm a heroic raider so some are tweaked a bit for efficency.

Do you by chance heroic raid with a mistweaver, or resto Druid? 10m or 25? Do you have tweaked Tao mistweaver profile that you could upload? I didn't find it in your list of profiles. Many thanks

My Mist is a bit behind. Just started bringing him to our weekend normal alt farm. Once I start bringing him to heroic or even start noticing little things in normal ill make adjustments. Alot of times is just removing certain abilities so i can cast manually.

I just went on skype and I noticed that you have been sending PE updates on there, do you still send e-mails out with updated information? come to think of it, i have not gotten an email from soapbox rotations since march 9. I hope I am still on the mailing list! I downloaded the new PE that I saw listed on skype, but I am getting the same LUA errors. pm sent as well thanks!! looking forward to your new program
