[PQR] Sandman's Frost DK

Good things take time, and I'm expecting EXCELLENT things from you!

In the meantime I have ikool's edit, but I fully expect yours to blow everything else out of the water once you release it (hopefully Unholy as well).

Ikools is right on point as far as DPS goes( with my tests his is only 2k DPS less than sims).

So my goal is to match his but have a lot of creature comforts built in.

First up will be DW frost.
2nd 2H Frost
3rd 2H Unholy
4th for shits and giggles will be DW unholy( requires spending all death runes on death siphon instead of ss)

I am gonna try to speak with ikool and way and see if I can use their core as it is within 2k DPS of sims. If they allow it I can add the creature comforts and stuff quicker.

Hello, I am about to start work on a brand new Frost dk profile for current/live servers only.
First release will only be duel wield only. Will release a 2H and Unholy down the road.

I am posting my intended layout for the rotation below. If you see anything you want(be reasonable) I will see if I can add it. The profile should be up(beta) by this Sunday in US time 10-13-2013.


* Initialise
*General and dk functions
*DK specific boss functions from 5.0===>>> 5.4
*Mentally's dot tracker/table for diseases.
*Auto switching function for single target to AoE and back. Will probably use mentally's table above for this.
*Single target/Aoe abilities

#Will not have auto pot built in.
#Will not cast ERW during lust/hero.

#Will use gloves with PoF
#Will use racials.


% Will not have in game config at first. Will implement either pqi or Firepongs in game frames down the road.

Im excited to see what you come up with Mate, and i hope "DK specific Boss Functions" also includes your DarkSim (perhaps automatic instead of Focustarget).

I would also recommend adding a "Time to Die" Function like Mentallys for Example.

With this, and the Dottracker, the 2k DPS you mentioned will easily be "fixed"

Mine should still be OK for frost until sandman gets his up and running(wouldn't try my unholy if anyone has a copy of it).

You couldn't possibly configure your already existing profile to use the new rotation iKool (the 1.9 one)? I don't think we'll be seeing Sandman's profile any time soon and we'd all really appreciate it.

Edit: I believe I managed to successfully modify your profile iKool to follow the Mastersimple rotation. Mind taking a look and see if it's correct? I've sent the profiles to you. If anyone wants to try it out just leave a comment here and I'll PM you.
