Coding combat profiles

I'm looking to become more fluent in lua so request a PQR (pref pvp) profile and I'll make it.
I already code in other languages so don't be put off by my inexperience in lua - everybody's gotta start somewhere
Be detailed in what you'd like it to do.
-Don't just say 'smart casting of <spell>', tell me what would make it smart.
EG. instead of "Smart casting of lifebloom" say "cast lifebloom on focus, unless another target has under % hp"
Please don't request a profile which already exists unless you want me to mod it and the creator is okay with it.

I will test as best as I can before releasing.
The more detail you give me, the quicker I'll make it.

Yeah I guess. Everything becomes considerably easier to do once you know what it should be doing.

Well i could give you lots of stuff to do but the thing is i haven't played manualy for over two years so i have no idea how to play by hand anymore. All i know is that there is no good prot warrior or prot pally profiles for example. But you prefered pvp so i can't help you there at all realy. I'm gonna think about it over the night.

If someone wanted a profile done and had the xp to teach you they'd just do it themselves. I don't see any new extraordinary profile devs arising and its because owned core is not welcoming to them. Nobody wants to give shit for free other than a handful of people. So here u go here's your handful.

it's not hard to write down some code, the only thing that differ you from others is your logic behind that.

You are a coder that knows design but not expert on Lua and you want someone to tell you how the rotation should be so you can implement it?

We're in need of Rogue profiles. Nerder makes some very good ones but I've heard complaints of them having problems/being unoptimized. I'm sure you could check his thread for information of what people are looking for.

I know how to code the profile, I just need to know how to code the profile. Okay that makes no sense. I know how to code, just not how to play; does that make more sense?

Yeah it would be better for everybody if you were more up-to-date. I prefer PvP but I'm not going to refuse doing PvE profiles. Hey, maybe I'll even learn to like PvE!

Of course, but I don't want to be giving people profiles which perform a rotation which looks good but is actually useless

I would like to help you with your offer. Im currently playing a BM / Survival Hunter. Im on the side of PvE though. Ive tried HB and various other CRs.
I wouldnt mind trying to help you develop your LUA-experience, while you help me with my hunter rotations. I wont be able to pay you though, not this month atleast.
