yea pirox is trashy, coded in autoit the source was laying around somewhere on some french forum and the bot would go haywire over night
gatherbuddy was using protected lua code or whatever and so it got banwaved
gnometools is made by someone who sits around on pirox forums using pirox i think
i just stick with mimic since they wont stop updating it and making sure its good due to the amount of money they probably be getting lol
Flybot is pretty good, i've been using it for 4 days now. Farming is fast and reliable, i had some problems fighting mobs (sometimes it wouldn't attack at all) however i guess this is because i didn't spend a lot of time to read the FAQ and set the bot correctly.
I'm using Gatherbuddy and Honorbuddy right now with no problems.
It's a shame MMOTotus got shut down, though.
U N C O O L M O N K E Y
When you say right now, do you mean Post-3.3?
Pirox isnt actaully a bad bot it just has far too many settings (Its gathering feature sucks), Honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy are very good bots however gatherbuddy did get a ban wave (But they now have protection against warden, which pirox does not). Gnometools is a horrible bot imo has terrible support and its poorly coded imo. Omegabot is currently only a leveling bot but its awesome.
Summary
Best Gathering Bot: Gatherbuddy
Best Leveling Bot: Omegabot/Honorbuddy
Best PVP Bot: Honorbuddy (Reason i pick honorbuddy over pirox is simply because its so much more user friendly, and its pathing system is amazing. Also its new feature grinding whilst waiting for bg queue is awesome)
Btw if you liked glider you will love omegabot its very similiar imo.
@Crysto
Gatherbuddy and honorbuddys support is not bad at all infact its very good, and they are not overpriced imo you pay for what you get imo, 80 Euro gets you the best gathering bot and one of the best leveling/pvp bots for life (And with the lifetime key you can have more than one session at a time) they are both so easy to set up (Basically require very little work at all). They have protection against warden and very well coded.

yeah the gatherbuddy bust was actually a luafoo bust that happened to use a similar memory write. busted, yes. targeted, no.
The story can be found... HERE
Regardless, anytime the devs decide to add it to warden any of the existing bots can be popped, tripwire or not. anyone is just as susceptible. just pay attention to forums on patch days and bear in mind no matter which you buy you will eventually be without for a duration or indefinitely, depending on blizzard. This means buy based upon performance.
I too am torn between pirox and the gb package. I want to buy a lifetime setup with full pve/bg/farm capabilities. Given the prices however, I will be going with pirox. While I realize this is not a performance based decision, pirox gets the job done and at a far more reasonable price difference of $43.10USD.
We are of course bearing in mind that lifetime means "'til bliz kills them" and that we are seeing the game engine itself start to show age. Another factor is the method of sale from the gb crew. The bot recieves far more support and input from the user base making it noticably larger a target, garners a great deal more money per account and is pretentious enough to market a "goldseller's" package. Were the cost not enough to make me shy away, those "come pound my ass, blizzard" factors are more than enough for me to place my short term investment elsewhere. The only saving grace for them is that their bots are two entirely different ones and may require different scans from warden to both be popped. This is a small caveat as blizzard would most likely target both once sights were set in that direction, regardless. The most minor of my reasons is bossland's predisposition to berate or outright bully those in competition. Coding against the machine is imo, a place where we should support one another and aggressive elements should be ostracized.

The mob "Jesus" was only on PTR. It never hit the real world servers and sure as hell won't RESPAWN. For some reason though, people still camp it.
mimic is easily detectable?
bump for my question ^
Does anyone actually have the MMOTotus source code? He said he released after blizzard came round his house with a baseball bat... I would love to have it and just input my own offsets manuely.
My 1.3 Cents (after tax)
