Making glider profiles for the community :)

Well I am finally going to attempt to help the community. I will be offering the service of making profiles for anyone and everyone . Anyone that has donated, contributed, or has a lot of rep will be looked at first. These profiles will be made not stolen or gotten from gliders forum. And i will hope you would not release them ANYWHERE, if i find out you do I will stop doing this. If anyone finds out that my profiles are being shared, i will make you 5 profiles for whatever or wherever you like if you tell me where you have seen it and prove it was mine.

-Right now i can only make horde profiles for a level 73 or below toon. For alliance i can do level 70 or below right now.

-Post what kind of profile you would like, please include as much information as possible. Such as level you are, what kind of mobs you want to kill, or what you want to farm.

-Also these profiles will be grinding, if you want vendor or mail, i may be able to add it if i don't have to many to make for mmowned.com .

There's a dock and a boat at Faldir's Cove in lower Arathi Highlands, accessible through a tunnel below Stromgarde Keep. I have been trying to make a profile that will successfully glide on the Blackwater Deckhands on the boat, then go off the boat and kill Shakes O'Breen, First Mate Nilzlix, Doctor Draxlegauge, and Captain Steelgut, and then continue with going back on the boat and clearing it over, in a loop. I can't seem to get it to work out without getting stuck everywhere, glider thinking I'm on the top of the boat when I'm on the bottom, etc. This glide is for Bloodsail Buccaneer's reputation and the mobs require that you're at war with Booty Bay to kill them. If you can successfully make me a glide of this area, I will love you forever. I'm a level 42 Rogue.

this is actually a pretty sweet (and novel)! way to get some rep.

though if anyone's already using non-ppather glider, they've got to realize that making a profile requires about 3 min and no brains? I mean add the faction numbers to template, click "auto add waypoints", run a circle thru mobs, die and run back from gy, click save... its twice as hard to make a request on forum then wait for results

I find making a decent route pretty hard... I go not have glider forum acces, bought the key long ago from someone (I don't have paypall/visa) and I don't have his login on the forums. ANy question towards the glider "helpdesk" stays unanswered.

back on the gliding then; for me the hard part is to find a good spot... I mean, the spot needs to give decent exp, I love to have some extra loot with that (i set lootfilter on frostweave cloth only), it needs to be close to a GY, the mobs can't be too hard and the place shouldn't have questitems... lots of factors to calculate in.

Next problem I have, when I make a profile, I always make one wrong turn, a weird direction switch or whatever, and I always end up tagging a mob that is out of reach, gets me stuck (hate those zangarmarsh mushrooms! there is no way out!) and eventually DCs me (stuck too many times).

Another problem that I have is that sometimes, for no apparent reason, glider just quits. Something to do with a string, can't understand that silly technical mumbo jumbo, and the lack of forum acces is a problem for me since I can't ask about it.

So yeah, to the guy above me, for the less experienced this can be a prob sometimes. And @ the OP, nice idea!

Thanks everyone going to work on these tonight-Thursday . Wanted to work on them when i got a couple people wanting some so that i don't move my main from northerend for 1 profile x.x :P.

yeah i can. ill just put pather back on my pc . what were you looking for? i dont do the extreme tasks, but i can do simple grind, mail, vendor, stuff like that
