Inrego's Public Task Project
¤----------------¤----------------¤----------------¤----------------¤
Current Public Version: rev 59
Closed Beta Version: rev 59
Note: Your version number can be found in top of your ChangeLog.txt
NOTE! IT IS NOW REQUIRED THAT YOU USE THE ppather.dll FILE THAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE! IF YOU DO NOT USE THIS, YOU WILL GET ERRORS!
To use this ppather.dll you simply just copy it to your glider folder and overwrite.
I now think it's time for a real public announcement of this task that several people have already used to glide one or more toons to 70. This task is good because I really use a lot of time in making this, and I have some really good testers that are reporting every little thing they can think of. I want this task to be the best (some even think that it is already). I am automating the levels 1 through 70 as much as possible within ppathers limits. Currently, this task supports all levels for all races of alliance, where it only supports 1-20 for horde (in private beta testing atm).
This all sounds really great, but it's still in beta. This means that it doesn't support all within ppathers limits yet. But more is being added all the time.

FAQ
What is this?
This is a task that will take you through the levels 1-70 without needing your attention very much.
Does this actually work?
There are, of course some bugs. This is still beta and is being made. I keep improving this task with better hotspots, more cool stuff etc. Here is some quotes that you might like.
I as well have finished my first string of characters to lvl70, 3 to be exact, my forth was running the horde version! I've already started another 3, all in the high 20's atm. Wahoo!
I most def agree, this task has been awesome. I have tested it on all my toons and have been so very pleased. Not only is the task very well written the code is too
Thank you so much.
dude.. this task OWNS!
i really appreciate the time and effort u put into this task file!
keep it up!
There is lots more, but these should give a good view of what people think of this. I have seen no flamers so far (Fingers Crossed).
How does it work?
I have made this task with a mix of Load and Preprocessing. This mix united, has made a very memory and CPU efficient task file. Everything has been broken into bits, and it's only loading stuff that is relevant for your level, race and class! This will not use more CPU than a usual simple grinding task. If you have had circling problems with other big leveling tasks, then you will really notice how this task will work wonders with your computer.
This sounds very advanced, will I even know how to do?
If you have any prior experience with gliding with pather, then yes! This is very simple. All you need to do is extract the zip file somewhere, open settings.txt and change the stuff as you like. For example if you want it to place talents, or how much food you want it to buy, all the things that I need you to decide if the task should do or not!
Example:
Code:
= True; // Enable mailing True/False.
= "Altname"; // Name of the character to send items to.
= ["**","**"];// Replace stars with items you want to be mailed.
// You can use parts like "Leather" or "Ore" to mail
// All items with the word leather or ore inside.
// Good for skinners / miners to send all materials.
= ["**"];// These items will not be mailed no matter what.
= True; // Send green items in the mail. True/False
= True; // Send blue items in the mail. True/False
= True; // Send epic items in the mail. True/False
In this example, you can choose to mail items or not. If you don't want it to mail change True to False in the $varmail and so on.
How do I get it?
Well I would like it best if you joined my community at Inregos 1-70 Leveling task! from where you can download it. It will also be available for download if you are not registered. I will try keeping the download link at the front page, but if it's not there, you will find it as a sticky in Forum -> Announcements
Where do I start it?
I have made a nice list of where you start it for different races and levels here Announcements :: Where do I start it?
