"Mmoglider was detected" at WoW Startup

its NOT detected.. They updated Scan.dll (NOT WARDEN)
Scan.dll is something built into WoW's Startup thats searches for Keyloggers/Hacks

Scan.dll does a scan just before your shadow driver is loaded.. therefore showing this message.

The Soulution is to DELETE/RENAME Scan.dll to.. Scan.dll.crap

It is not, that was the point.

As long as the shadow driver is loaded, you won't get the message, and you will be safe.

why wouldn't you? It's safe.... Its just that a function in glider didnt kick in b4 scan.dll, which is NOT WARDEN!

In addition,The shadow driver cloaks the Glider process, and the latest hotfixed Scan.dll file from Blizzard only checks the CRC hash of the Glider.exe file, if present.

I've been investigating a little, and compiled my own (dummy) Glider.exe. I ran it while launching WoW, and no message popped up. Proving that it only detects the un-cloaked non-shadow driver hidden Glider.exe, NOT just the process name.

Dummy glider source code and binary files included, in case anyone wants to experiment.

Ok going into more detail for those who don't read the glider forums. Glider 1.5.7 RC4 (New glider WITHOUT launchpad) is just as secure if not more. Glider uses should switch to this version for this exact reason! Blizzard updated there scan.dll (Startup Scanner for rootkits,key loggers,Trojans). However this is NOT the reason why glider is being detected. Anti-Virus Programs or just having an extreamly slow computer may prevent the shadow driver from kicking in BEFORE WoW opens. Therefore getting that awesome error. You best bet would be like i said downloading 1.5.7 RC4 (Beta) and opening Glider Before/After Whenever you want. If your getting this error your best bet is to open it after you login (obviously). For the n00bs that are going to reply to my post saying and i quote "He's lying.. if you open glider without launchpad your gonna get banned!!!" all I have to say is 1 you didnt read my post 2. you didnt read the glide support and 3. this is true for all glider versions except 1.5.7+..

Glider is up now, well at least for me. I have been using it through this whole time and still no ban. I'm a risk taker when it comes to botting!!!!
