Try using your 60% mount and turning your CPU rating down one knotch. I read yesterday in a forum (sorry can't remember which) that they were having lots of trouble with the 100% mounts, and they switched to the 60% and lowered the CPU rating settings in openbot and it worked fine.

Actually you'd want to do the opposite. The CPU Rating box determines how fast the bot pulses. The faster you move, the faster it needs to pulse to record things properly. No matter how you map though, the faster you move. the higher the chances of getting some screwy map data. It's always best to map on foot for one or two runs. Then feel free to let it loose. This just makes sure you have the needed mapping data before hand, and will greatly reduce lockups.

i'm still not sure if i should use it already. got already 2 3hr bans on my main acc for leeching honor with my alt using priox afk bot. but looks nice and i will try it once my alt on a 2nd acc gets at least 60 without warnings or bans using openbot, so i can trust it a bit more.

Well the difference with this, it has active decision making based on alot more than what Pirox does. Worst case scenario, you look like a noob in the BG. A noob, but not an AFK noob.

I've heard no reports of anybody getting suspended/banned from being marked as an AFKer. In fact, I've had reports of people getting whispers "good healing", "nice", etc. It all depends on how you set it up.

Gotten alot of reports lately with people being near the top of the BG scoreboard. Which obviously means your not AFK. Right? :P

Well, I can say. After a couple hours of customizing Apoc's 4.31 priest routine, not using any mount. And doing a crapload of mapping. (AV Sucks..)

The bot runs. It does what it's supposed to. It fights, dies, runs, and repeats.
At least it's not standing in one spot or running in circles like Pirox.

Good job, and thanks for the release.

I was using the v5 that you released with oBG, and tbh Apoc. I've spent hours and hours ripping out my hair and pounding my head in over your Routines.

I just now released v5. (Finished version)

The one supplied on the SVN is a base template for a BG routine. More of a "this is how you can do things" for the other routine devs.

The new v5 routine is included in the SVN now.

as much as i don't want to sound as freaked out as suicidity, i must admit i too am having some issues with bot indecision.

as per instructions i manually mapped out all the access roads, marked all the POIs for both sides, and even mapped jumps for short cuts along the route to make it seem more human. criss crossed common battle locations and mapped evasive roundabout routes as well. all in all i spent about 5-8 games giving the bot all the info i felt your guide and logic required.

for the most part, it runs a HELL of a lot better than cost free alternatives. i mean hey, you get what you pay for. but maybe it's too smart and in a way, and i think that's making it stupid.

suicidity mentioned that the bot was having indecision issues from one point to another. i can see that it's attempting to follow the programmed "follow the group" psuedo AI. the main issue arises when attempting to travel between SHGY to SPGY and from SPGY to Aid Station. the bot will mount from one of these to the next one based on the offensive setting and proceed up until the point some people res up at the previous location. at that point it will change hotspots and return to the previous location and proceed to guard that location until enough people have moved on to make it decide to change hotspots yet again. some times it will run through this routine 3-4 times before proceeding to the next point completly. and sometimes it'll just ride back and forth over the same 100 yards trying to make up it's mind on which hotspot to choose. happens every couple seconds or so.

    other thoughts:
perhaps make the guard phase (when guard is not selected in the UI) a bit shorter if there are no defenders present (45 secs?). i've noticed that sometimes it'll go from SHGY to SPGY and sit there for a good minute and a half if not more while everyone else is obviously at aid station.

    Apoc,
your sham 1.1 routines are great. i'd like to see a bit more done in terms of raid healing via the resto routines, but i DO see the "assist" tab with nothing in there and am going to assume that's a work in progress. would like to hear from you personally if you're looking to brainstorm. all in all, way better than the default routines. thank you!

all in all great addition to OB. have been using it for a couple days and am shocked at the level of engineering between the necessary programs going on to make this all possible.

p.s. using all the most current SVN and package builds installed step by step per your instructions.

The guarding should hopefully be finished up tonight. WSG logic the night after. No guarantees since I can't log in to test things yet. (US Servers FTL.)
