Tried this on TW and works fine, but it takes a minute to make yourself "appear offline"...is it normal ?

Yes, when the client tries to connect it takes a minute or so for the bnet to realize you've timed out in the connection.

Hi, I am just curious to know about why Blizzard spent 3 years but still cannot put the appear offline option to Battle.net when we are actually able to do it by youself ? What is the problem they actually facing so far ? Thank you.

Hello mate and thanks for this neat tool.
I wonder what happens if we use a 3rd party firewall? Does it still work?

I'm merely making your network unable to connect to blizzard's servers. I don't think they would use the same method

It does not work unless it uses window's default firewall as an API or some sort. You can however re-write it to work on most firewalls if they have an API

little lesson people
this defo works great
however I bot on 6 accounts on same bnet, today I was logging in an selecting appear offline in character selection panel. Once I login it auto disconnected from bnet asap but must of given an alert that I came online for that split second with whatever toon I was on botting, a simple whois and bam caught.
Forgive me if someone already said this in another post.
Well someone caught me doing that, what I now do is login using a level 1 bankalt with almost exact same name just with a different letter so I know I'm disconnected properly before logging into my bot which I know will be on for a bit.
Had to be my raid leader of all people online that noticed but yeah passing this on.

Yes, you're correct. This only disconnects you from battle.net's chat interface/battle.net chat server; not the game /who %name%

yeah, great little addon you made though
I just now login an alt first so it disconnects me from the server and not my main bot first.
when I log back into main panel an go to my main bot it doesn't say when I login disconnected from server so I take it is already disconnected from the first login into the alt am I correct in believing this?
just doing it this way for an safety feature so if someone /who me when seeing me online first time before disconnecting from bnet I can say oo that just an bankalt or something not my main bot they can add manually to an friends list and keep an eye on me.

I wouldn't use this as a certifiable way to not get caught botting. It's literally just blocking battle.net's ability to talk to your computer vice versa. This project was done for people who get annoyed from friends on battle.net spamming them to do rbgs/raids/farm stuff/carries etc; not for botters...although you can use it with some creativity involved.
