    1: Region EU
2: Acc "A" PQR only, acc "B" PE only, acc "C" private farming bot
    3: Perma on A and B, nothing against C
    4: PC win7
5: Main acc was banned. It's bad but not fatal PQR was the only thing keeping me from leaving this game.

SO many subs cancelled and only HB users/streamers and ppl who selling pvp/pve stuff are still on air + 10-20% of casuals

I started botting only because everyone else does. Every location is full of bots as well as every arena. Banning users who has 4-6 years subs not really smart imo.

One of the only truly irritating aspects of this whole "ban wave" is the lack of continuity. There's no real rhyme or reason as to why some people received temp suspensions and others had their accounts deactivated. Whether it was PQR with or without PQI with a touch of HB hold the PE to PvE with or without PvP; there hasn't been one 72 hour suspension scenario that hasn't been matched with a perm ban, including those who did arenas, bgs, interrupt helpers, ect.

The more forums I read the more confusing the logic behind it becomes. (Like watching retarded kids with buckets over their heads running into walls while laughing and thinking its each other)

I played the piss out of PQR since release... and PQI. From PvE to PvP, there isn't a profile on these forums that I didn't mess around with; even made my own. I raided with it, pvp'd, quested... I couldn't go from the bank to the AH without it. When I wasn't actively using it, I was inactively using it... letting it faceroll on target dummies so I could compare scripts or parses whatever.... the point is, I played the piss out of it.

I even brought it to the attention of my guild, got others involved. Some more heavily than others. But I swear to you, in almost every incident of their being a perm ban.... it wasn't the over-users. Me? No. 72 hours. Slap on the wrists. Blizz took our casuals out of play, our 'eh, I'll download it and take a look at it" players. They even perm banned a girl who had it for 2 weeks, had one script and could never figure out how to use it. She played since release, one of those 'I have every mount' types. Of course, I look like a c*nt now, but it still doesn't explain what the triggers were.. what constituted a suspension and not a perm ban.

I almost want to put in a ticket and inquire why I didn't receive a perm ban, self proclaim how much more I used it than the others and act offended that Blizzard was implying I simply didn't use it enough.... *shrugs* .... but I am a c*nt, so I won't. Either way, lack of continuity ya know?

It is a standard scripted answer. I doubt that they would manually check 100k appeals.

For all you know they might be loseing allmost nothing
Simple math tells me that 510,000 accounts banned = $7.55 million @ $15 a month subscription fees. Even if half of the accounts banned all paid $10 a month, they're losing 5 million a month in revenue.

Tell me again how my facts are wrong?

Beck that's the problem with the current ban wave - Random Perma's and 72hrs. To add to the confusion some profile writers got 72 hrs omg wtf and yet your friend 2 weeks couldnt get it working perma banned ... absolutely no logic at all.

Best thing to come out of this is finally its a reason to leave this game as many others have said. Farewell OC and WoW it was fun but times have changed and new adventures are out there to be explored.

Woah, sir. Farewell OC? You do realize these forums host other games too.

I haven't played WoW in over 2 months and I never used HB only PQR/PQI and All of my accounts for banned. Again, never used anything but PQR and I haven't logged into WoW since November 21st.

Wow I just looked at another account that I havent even activated since cata he is still level 85 and I used PQR on him and he is banned as well so this ban wave has to be going WAY WAY back. Wtf. This is just a gimmick to get people to buy level 90 pre made accounts from them. I lost my mage with the worlds second atiesh great staff scarb lord and multiple glad titles and pretty much every tgc mount and pet in the game. I never thought they would ban for this. I should have known better. FML

I feel for all the banned accounts, especially those who only "tried" it out for a week or 2. Back in 2010 during wrath a simpler lua unlocker came out that allowed you to run scripts as macros and you simply spammed 1 button for the perfect rotation. That didnt last long and there was a mass banwave just like this one. So many lost original accounts. I showed my wife on her account just once and she lost her account permanently.

This is exactly what happened then. We tried writing them, calling them, everything to get the accounts back but to no avail. But what we didnt have was battlenet where you can at least re-acquire things like mounts, pets even titles and achievements. I understand the loss but damn PQR got a good run, and if anything the last ban in 2010 taught me to be smart just like this one will teach you to be smarter. Battlenet provides us with the unique opportunity to save our accumulated rewards like achieves, mounts, pets etc. Dont bot on a main account. Have a spare you dont give a shit about losing and always transfer gold etc to that personal bank guild. OC has an entire post about how to be smart stickied because its seen all of this time and time again.

Anyways I feel for a lot of you I really do. My first ban hurt but it made me wiser and more rebellious against Blizzard. I will use the next thing that comes along and enjoy the shit out of that too. LAst but not least, theres a thread here where a guy talks about how to give yourself the best chances of recovering a banned account. It was a good read and had some good tips. One of which was dont send them messages straight away saying your account got hacked. Of course your account didnt get hacked when you messaged them 2 hours after getting banned! Look it up anyways and good luck!
