Very nice job dan! Thanks for fast replies and fast updates! Love that you post an "unfinished" version first and updating it instead of making us wait

    Big thanks!

EDIT: In the latest version persistant morphing works perfect for me! Probably thanks to the delay, i put it on 500 cuz my comp is dogshit, and it works

added a delay option for the persisten morpher, default is 50ms, increase it higher to see if it fixes the freeze issue.

edit: make sure you set the delay BEFORE you enable it. ill fix this in another build so you cant change it while its running(even tho changing the box while its running does nothing).
One thing I noticed is no matter what I set the delay too on Fullscreen it freezes, but with WoW in windowed mode I can keep the delay at 50 and it will not freeze up. Other than that everything works fine

dan934, I'm going to give this one a try but wanted to ask if you plan to add tmorph features to this such as hairstyle/haircolor/skin/face as things you can also change? It ended up being something I personally enjoyed a lot about it. Thanks for the release!!

I've been looking into it, But there's a problem with these features in that they only work for specific race display id's

    Code:
    human male = 49
    human female = 50
    dwarf male = 53
    dwarf female = 54
    night elf male = 55
    night elf female = 56
    gnome male = 1563
    gnome female = 1564
    draenei male = 16125
    draenei female = 16126
    worgen male = 29423
    worgen female = 29422

    orc male = 51
    orc female = 52
    undead male = 57
    undead female = 58
    tauren male = 59
    tauren female = 60
    troll male = 1478
    troll female = 1479
    blood elf male = 15476
    blood elf female = 15475
    goblin male = 6894
    goblin female = 6895

    male panda = 38551
    female panda = 38552
these are the 'real' race display id's, however you'll notice if you morph to these you will morph to the right model, but the skin textures will still be the ones from your original character.

for example, if my first loaded character is an undead male(57) and i then morph to a male orc (51) it will adopt the orc Model but still have undead skin/features and in many cases these features are incompatible with the current model and creates a very buggy look.

currently, i could enable you to morph features like hair/earings and skin color. but it would only work for your native race (the original one you loaded in on)

I plan on looking into this more at some point, but right now i'm focused on some other things like adding support for Shapeshift Forms and Weapon swapping.

Thanks for the detailed response. Makes sense, and if I played a druid im pretty sure that would be the most annoying part about morphers is shifting issues. Ty

it doesn't change any files, it changes values in memory, this is client-side only, no one else will see this because none of this information is sent to the server.

in addition, warden(the tool bliz uses to detect modifications/hacks) does not currently scan any of the addresses used in this. it's possible that this could change but is very unlikely. morphing software has been around for a long time and nothing has changed so far.

One thing I'd like to see would be the option to unload item morphs as the best method I found of doing this was to unload Simple Morph and relog.

A virus scan from VirusTotal or a similar website is required for all releases.

    -- new update:

    simplemorpher114.zip (scan: https://www.virustotal.com/file/e684...is/1355731832/)

    • fixed an issue that caused it to crash if there was no instances of wow open
    • fixed the persistent morphing performance issues, should run smoothly regardless of what your delay is set to.
    • added support for custom shapeshift forms (options > misc) - included a sample file to handle druid cat forms. (note: this should work for *all* forms not just druids. i.e ghostwolf for shaman or demon form for warlocks provided you use the correct id.)
    • added support for custom weapons to handle weapon swapping (works just like druid forms).
    • added a tool to get your current display id and/or your current target display id.

be sure to post any bugs you find, there's bound to be a few.
