Stop Windows Update restarting!

Hey all,

Thought i might share this, Ever get that annoying feeling when you wake up after botting to find your PC rebooted thanks to windows update auto restart? i know i have and its damn annoying!



Heres a registry hack that will stop this from happening and i have also provided the key to turn auto restart back on

No more losing loads of farming time due to windows fail updates.

Just save the files as enable.reg and disable.reg and double click them

Another method;

Start > CMD > net stop "windows update"

It will stop the updates untill next reboot (Didnt work for me but i know its possible on XP)

Or you can just go "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update\Change settings" use the drop down there and select one of the bottom 3 options.

And when windows "Action Center" bugs you about not having the updates properly, you can go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Change Action Center settings" and uncheck the boxes for windows update.

Doing this yourself is VERY VERY safer than downloading some random registry file that *can* **** your computer up.

Also, this has nothing to do with botting with world of warcraft and is quite pointless.
