Yes. I am Battlemidge and mine still works fine. Looks to me like this one works *less*.
The links in discussion are old and outdated. They do start and "work" but won't detect the WoW chat since you have different offsets and such. Comparing the source by Chaz and the old source, I see changes that he have done to the EXE file.
The strange bug that I personally get is that the exe crashes on my machine. Maybe there is a new .net Framework out or something... hmmm
Chaz one will work, if we can just fix the crash problem... /frown
whats sniffer?
How does this work? I choose my Ip Address and nothing happens.
So, I just run the .exe?
It hasn't worked yet. Wanna make a tut for retards like me?
wonder if warden flags you for WoWsniffer title
This just dont work.. i start .exe than wow.. dont work.. then wow & .exe doesn't work.. so make tutorial or what??![]()
yeah still doesnt work for me also it just closes after I do anything.
You should be able to start the program when ever you like, it will just monitor the traffic between WoW and the server, and read the chat data, and put it on the screen for you before it gets encoded into Orcish "kek kash'rigal karr" or Common "bur ludan calo navel" (e.g.) - It's not detectable since it's not hooking up with WoW.exe in any way.
The bugs at the moment are either crashing on start for some.. might be due to build version or something.. unsure myself, but I know that when the old one worked fine, you didn't get caught. It was working up to 2.0 with old 1.6 opcodes... ;P Until 2.1 when they changed them.![]()
does this work on any chat? or only cross faction.
This doesn't work for me either. Crashes when I open the exe.
