    Anyone interested in LazyBot [REDUX]?

I'm not clear on who wrote LazyBot, but I do see it's down, I found the source and have been updating it to meet my needs, and just fixing bugs and attempting to add questing. Is anyone interested, if so I can release it here, or does anyone know the status of the project and who the original author(s) are? I would love to get official permission to take over the project.

I have a thread where i post the latest version of the bot. Romb0t has been working on the bot also, you can see the changes he made http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ml#post2243221 (LAZYBOT support thread, Q&A, requests and updates) and http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ml#post2255052

    http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...s-updates.html

You don't need any permision to update the bot since it is open-source. The main/only developer/creator has stopped working and released the source in January this year. If you would like to release you version, i would like to post it in my thread also, along with a list of the changes you made.

thanks jumperu I'll get it all ready for a release. What I'd like to do is take a look at Romb0t's changes and merge some things. is his on a version control site somewhere? I also think I'll resurect AC2

while you're combing over the entire program code..there's something in there that messes with internet explorer..makes it the default browser ;-) be sweet to see that gone..kinda creeps me out..

I've got a little more specific evidence if it'd be helpful..

    @Jaladhjin that's weird
Redux will be released soon, with OHack support and Lua scripting (YAY Auction house botting and Questing support!)

I agree..it weirds me out..I noticed it on a clean install when I had Chrome as my default & noticed the change..& unfortunately for me I don't know anything technical enough to be of much value in a solution :-/

In any case..looking forward to your creation :-)

Updated release can be downloaded at my site here: http://www.prototypic.net/Lazy%20Bot%201.6%20REDUX.zip
Main updates were fixes to looting, wow window re-parenting and ohack integration, there is minor questing and the beginning of some lua stuff added so we can do more advanced work.
    Enjoy everyone!

Not having a lot of luck with the link..I'm thinking its just because of the company connection..figured I'd mention since I'm also curious about somethin' unrelated :-D

Have any plans to play & keep up on it in MoP? Ooor was it just sort of a personal challenge ;-)

Lookin' forward to trying it when I can actually download..

I see your rep & your long history here..word to the wise though..might want to upload it here as well & a scan ;-)

Not that I'm questioning your integrity..just thinkin' I might say it nicer than the next person..heh

Yeah I might have to fix something on my server to enable downloads, it worked locally but not when I was off site. I'll update this thread later.

As for the update I don't have beta access so I'll have to wait till its public, and I'll have to puzzle rough finding offsets probably. But yeah I plan on keeping at it.

I thought it was pretty standard for an unbiased third party to upload a scan if I'm trying to spread malware, and I upload the file and the scan isn't there a chance I faked the scan? anyway here is the virus total scan
Strange, it appears that some of the injection, and hook code might throw up virus flags. I can guarantee I didn't add any malicious code, Source was obtained from here https://www.assembla.com/code/lazybo...n/nodes?rev=21, and the only other major mystery code is the included OHack dll and my custom dll injection class (included in lazylib)
