    What do you mean? It's just a trig ratio set by blizzard, they made the decision. If you're talking about how other people found that number and made hacks for it then that's easy, all you have to do is get the code that handles movement (very easy to find) and trace it and see what it's doing, and one point it calls a routine that runs an angle check, someone noticed this and took advantage of it, happens exactly the same way as any other hacks, just done with some reverse engineering.

    Yep, and with a little more programming/reversing skills it's possible to write a static dissector to find the offset without even launching WoW and searching memory.

    What's there to learn, a pointer is simply an address in memory that holds the location of another dress, in other words, it's "pointing" to it.
