I've never had issues until I started using this, and the addon memory thing seems strange. I play on 'Fair' with Sunshafts and Shadows turned all the way down.
If it isn't caused by a side-effect of using this, any tips on how to fix it?
The addon memory usage changes are because it causes all of the addon code to run as secure, which only Blizzard addon code runs as normally, so it thinks that it's all Blizzard code. Addons being on the first tab is probably caused by it being run as secure also.
What hacks do you have enabled when you get the out of memory errors? There must be a memory leak in OHack's code somewhere, but I can't tell what exactly is causing it from the crash log.
A memory leak would make sense, as my 'addon' usage goes up periodically. After about 3 hours of playing, it's at 149mb right now.
It has happened while using: Morph self, no collision, fly hack, climb hack, track objects, and track by specific name.
It has also happened with only morph/collision/fly on, so I'd probably pinpoint it to one of those three.
edit: Did some testing to hopefully make this easier for you; After morphing (I typed exactly: .morph 37923 while targetting myself) 'addon' usage appears to be increasing by around 50kb/sec for around 2mb, then increasing by around 5-10 kb/s from then on.
Upon logging in, my addon usage is around 60mb higher than without OHack loaded without enabling a single hack.
Fly hack/no collision don't appear to increase memory usage.
Also, it'd be nice to not have the UI pop up upon logging into a character, or for there to be a simple red 'X' to close it rather than having to type .ui or click a macro.

I just downloaded this and started using it, it works great! However, for me, it only works for ~30 seconds (the killswitch time). I believe that I am being detected (or the killswitch believes I am) at any rate, I am running on an account I could care less about, is there any way to disable the killswitch? Or is this another issue completely?
EDIT: Also, could this be a possible conflict with an addon? I'm running addons, but currently all of them are disabled.

I looked in the code for these hacks and I couldn't find any thing that could possibly cause a memory leak. If you can figure out which hack is causing it then I might be able to fix it. It could also be something else causing it, because no one else has had that issue.
I don't think it could be the killswitch. The killswitch is checked by OLoader before it lets you load OHack, so if for some reason your firewall or something was blocking it, then you wouldn't be able to load OHack. Does WoW exit, crash, disconnect, or what happens?
It just exits itself. No crash, no disconnect, it just closes down. That's what led me to believe it was the killswitch.

Just reposting in case you didn't see the edit.
I can't find a way to view which Blizzard/secure addons are using memory, but the following are marked as 'Running':
Blizzard_ClientSavedVariables
Blizzard_CombatLog
Blizzard_CompactRaidFrames
Blizzard_CUFProfiles
Blizzard_DebugTools
Blizzard_TimeManager
Blizzard_TokenUI
Everything else is marked as 'Loadable'.

could one script a teleport archeology bot with this alone?
edit: nm, ofc not since theres a speedcheck server side. but im pretty sure a fishing bot would be easy to do.![]()
I was at Netherwing Ledge yesterday and I couldn't track the eggs, however I had a friend come over and he was able to track them. I'm positive I could pick them up too. Do you know why this is happening?
I'm 100% sure I spelled it right.
