So this only does a rotation? A pre-defined set of keys? Because many classes, if not all, have some sort of dynamic ability that you need to watch for and greatly changes how to play in order to get optimum DPS.

It would be so much better if it the bot worked on priorities instead of a basic cast sequence like

MS on cooldown
Rend if not up.
Colossal smash if debuff isnt up and cooldown ready
Overpower if procced
etc...

a good dps bot would only realy work inprocess with lua_dostring

I know this isn't the best to optimize your DPS, I also know an inprocess bot would be much better. although I dont have the required skill to make an inprocess bot. But still, use it if you want to.

I would release my ghetto-done rotation bot but it is confusing to set up and I don't want to deal with it; but i'll tell what i did maybe someone can make it better than I can.

First I made a pixel scan on a certain location, in my bot I have it set it to a set location.

I then downloaded a PvE rotation helper like the one for Ret (CLCret) and made the pixel scan first scan for each skill. This would be like "Crusader strike - Press 1" so when it finds the color of the pixel on the screen for Crusader Strike it presses one. I did this for all the skills in the bot including hammer of wrath etc.

Surprisingly enough to me this method was perfect, although it was challenging to setup.

Hopefully someone can remake my bot, if you want the code you can pm me; I warn you though it might be ghetto rigged, I don't claim to be an awesome coder.

That's a clever way to run around lua. If I understood it correctly you dont have to do any injections but simply read the pixels from the screen right? Would you mind to elaborate on that or point in the right direction?

I've lost my sourcecode like a tard, but I'll elaborate because I am re-writing it for personal use.

Basically the idea is the addon displays the icon that is the best skill to use next (see CLCRET). Your bot automatically scans a pixel, if it shows up to be the color of that icons pixel then it sends the key that you have deemed to be the key for that skill. (4 for crusader strike when it finds the crusader strike pixel)

This is a ghetto way to do it but is also a undetectable way (because it does not memory read or inject a thing.)

Why not make a bot that uses the addon "Ovale" which has it's own rotation scripts and clicks on the icon indicating as to which spell to press next?

Ever since they banned auto cast addons back in BC I've been thinking of using one of the addons for fight rotations to feed data to a auto cast bot. I even posted asking about making one here a few years back but don't have the programing experience to write such a bot. Best of luck if you decide to carry forward with this.
