Archaeology Plugin For Honorbuddy

How big risk is it that you get reported and banned if you are using this ? :P
Never used a bot before so a little curious about how detectable it is and how likely it is that one would get banned

Less than most other types (pvp, pve, instance) since you aren't interacting with anything except your own surveying. Moreso in that the navigation is still a little wonky with flying.

i just find it quite rediculous that i have to pay for a plug-in for a bot that i already pay to use to begin with. Why do i need to pay twice?

Because you paid for HB (or GB), and not for the plug-in. Its been known for a long time that some plugins would follow a separate pricing model. Not having the plugin does not affect the core application, it is in addition to it.

I have nothing against you and I respect your coding skills and all that, but this just doesn't make any sense to me. I have used HB since beta and currently owning 1-year licence just to farm enough gold to fund my raiding and pvp gear enchants, foods and flasks and couldn't give a flying crap about Archaeology - but this is still beyond me. :P

It's still up on HB forums? I'm confused. Also what happened to that Onyx project?

Because it wasn't intended to be released as a free plugin, it was to be released as a paid plugin (which has been known for quite a while).

crap, i updated to 2.0.0.3740 and now i cant do archaeology botting anymore because the bot maker is charging out the ass for arch plugin. 100 dollars, no thanks.

does anyone have 2.0.0.3626? the honorbuddy website doesnt have it anymore. i think they deleted it. i will +rep for a 2.0.0.3626 version of honorbuddy.

edit: never mind. I still had the .zip of 3626 somewhere.
another edit: i found the link to the plugin-style of arch buddy compatible with .3740 but it keeps dismounting in the air. I guess the bot author put in a cockblock so they get more money. -_-

All the old downloads are found in the Archives section, we move them there when we no longer need them in the release section.

They broke the new version's ability to use the plugin included in this thread and released essentially the EXACT same plugin and made it only available for lifetime users so that normal users will buy lifetime memberships. The plugin released by raphus has the EXACT same issues that the one in this thread has.

Stay classy, HB team.

It was announced almost a year ago that a paid-plugin system would be implemented, with lifetime users given free access to most/all of them. Normal users who don't need them can still buy lower subs, normal users who don't want lifetime can still buy paid plugins, and lifetime users who were told they'd have access do.

Classy or not, this is the way this plugin was intended to be released.

Pay Honorbuddy $100 and you can use their bot. Then, you spend more money, and you can buy features for the bot. Then, when you don't need to use that feature, but need to use a different one, pay more money for the ability to use that. It's ok though, because when you really want to use it, it won't work right anyways.

Get a free bot to do your gathering/grinding. Get a speed hack, and level up your archaeology much much faster than this "Paid Plug-In" (lol).

Actually, lifetime members (aka the $100 members you speak of) get full access to all the paid plugins without paying an additional amount. Yearly users do have to pay extra for certain plugins that are created and released as "Paid Plugins" by HB devs.

Essentially you have three options:
1. For just grinding and questing (once its complete) on a single session for a limited period of time, buy a year's worth.
2. For a single session for a limited period of time but want to use one of the paid plugins, just buy that one plugin.
3. For full access, three sessions, and all the plugins, buy lifetime.

No one is forced to spend more than what they need.

Also, advocating a hack is (to use a cliche) comparing apples to oranges.
