    Tol Barad Battle Timer

    Hey Guys,

i wrote a tiny programm in Visual Basic for everybody, who likes to fight in Tol Barad. This program is for people who does not want to stay Ingame for the timer.

It is simple but for me useful. At the moment I have an alarm sound, which you can configure yourself. It plays 17 minutes before the battle starts so that you remember joining the queue.

When the battle started the timer will reset and remind you for the next battle.

You don't have to use it, but if someone find it useful it's worth it. I share this because I hate leeching and I want to contribute something to the community.

Yes, it's also unbanable because it has nothing to do with the World of Warcraft client.

i know its moot now 4 weeks later but you should use timers based on the computer clock (ex: startclock "Go" = getcurrenttime "system time" then setalarm "something like ring at x time and date") and not 1000 ms timer delays which lose cycles ANY time processor threads get backed up for a moment.

eg: this was a neat starting tool but it is off by at least a minute per hour under normal computer usage and as much as 5 with heavy CPU comsumption.

the whole reason i picked up this thing was to run a tiny little tool while i work at home instead of starting and stopping the whole wow client while i have 100 other things open. unfortunately this thing suffers the more i use my computer.
