Hello, so I decided to write a review and a guide on RwBot, It doesn't need much explianing on how to setup, mainly because the interface is fit for people who are new to the botting community. There is a guide which will pop up when you run RwBot for the first time, Hence the guide to setup I shall write here isn't so needed, but always good to have one.
Assuming you haven't already downloaded RwBot, the download link is: http://rwbot.com/filemgmt/index.php.
After you have downloaded RwBot, extract it to your desktop or some other place which is easily accessible, Like your documents for example.
After you have done this, If on Vista right click > Run as Administrator, if XP then just double click, after you have done this you shall see the bot pop-up and a guide if it's your first use, You probably will not need to look at the guide as it's really not a hard bot to understabd/setup.
Now Enter WoW, you can do this via click "Run WoW" on the Player Information sub, or run wow automatically and attach it to WoW. Go to your WoW-KeyBinds and set the following options:
Interact with Target = I
Target Last Enemy = G
Interact with mouse-Over = N
Target Enemy = Tab.
After you have set these click on the tab "Spells and Buffs" on your bot UI.
If you attached the bot to your WOW account, you should see alot of spells in the "List of Available spells". Simply sort the combat spells in-order to what you want to use first - last and add them to one of the following sub-groups: Combat - Healing Spells - Buffs. If you are a Druid/Shaman/priest you will see there is other things you can click to transform into that class for a druid, ex. Dire Bear Form.
After you have sorted all the spells into the seperate groups, click "Save settings". This is to save time so next time you can load your settings instead of re-doing it.
Settings:
Click on the settings and you shall see a variety of options, such as: Skinning,Mining,Herbalism and it supports all mounts Land & Flying.
In the top right you can see what percent health/Mana you want the bot to eat/drink at, default is 50, but I advise putting it higher if you're against high level mobs.
I think that the settings tab is self explanitory so I do not need to to explain.
Plugins: You can download and make plugins for the bot, to make it run smoother and add extra stuff, like Glider had, API.
Waypoints: I advise downloading a profile from Glider or Pirox, as it saves time.
Or you can make your own profile, just click "Record Waypoints" and run around the mobs you wish to kill, and the bot shall Follow that path.
It is highly reccommended you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed.
Anyway, onto the review of the bot:
I have been using this bot for quite a while now, and I am impressed, it never seems to freeze/stop responding or crash and does it job the way it's supposed to, without the little hickies that some other bots have.
Here is a Pro/Con grop that I have made to my belief:
Pro's:
Very easy to use
Fights well
Can convert other profiles from other bots to suit the needs for this bot.
Doesn't always freeze/crash.
Has option to Mine/Skin/Herbalism.
Supports all mounts flying & ground
Automatically detects where your abilities are on your bar and uses them.
Has your own health and information and the targets health and information on the player info tab.
Set's up in a couple of mins max.
Cons:
There really arent many Con's I think of, exept:
Price, $10 p/m or $35 for lifetime. - People may find this quite pricey, but it is completely worth the price.
C# API - on their but has not been described yet, but should be done within a couple of weeks.
I mean, to be honest guys, if you are unsure on this bot, go download a trial which runs for 10 minutes, you can run it all day but will need to restart it every 10 minutes.
The site with forums is over at: Rwbot.com
Kind Regards
~Barnzy
