Well, in PVE content, people aren't going to really care unless they are anal about DPS meters. You don't get much of that. In PVP though, you're playing against other players that want a level playing field. Good PVPers will most likely be using the GCD hack detection addon to get rid of the cheaters, -especially- in arenas. Using it in arenas is asking to be banned. BGs are a bad place to use it too, but theres a larger number of idiots/people that don't care there too, but you can't evade the banhammer for long.

not working for me, ive tried 0,900,950,1400 mpqs. it looks faster but im still casting the same amount of spells in 10seconds according to the ingame stopwatch.. this is on a private server.. is anyone getting this to work and can help?

It does not work on PServers with serverside check for this... (you can still find few without check and spam spells with gcd 0)

So I recently had two GCD hacks working in my data file, one that completely removed the GCD (But still with the server side 1 second cd) and this one for 1300ms. I finally got around to deleting the one that completely removed it, but now my GCD does a countdown and I'm not sure if this one is working. With the other one it didn't do a flash because well, there wasn't a cd :P

With this one, does the GCD still not show but the cd will be on whatever you put in, or does it actually activate the gcd and do the timer?

I think I see what you're saying. This hack changes the "countdown" spinning thing on your abilities to whatever you set it too, as opposed to the other one which completely removes it.

This addon is working perfectly for me. As a resto druid I can set 1100 MS without getting caught right ? Because of the haste that reduces the GCD people won't think I'm cheating unlike hunters or warriors that can't reduce their GCD.

There's only one problem, when I use wowmygcd almost all my addons doesn't works anymore, like Scrolling Combat Text or Afflicted3, why ?

GHT rolls out with a threshold of 1.3 sec.

I usually set mine from anywhere between 1.1-1.25 secs.

I run GHT as well, as soon as I pick up myself, I increase the time. I always reset GHT then spam Battleshout to get a few ticks on it before I do arena or BGs.

You can always go to a place like Thunderbluff to hit the dummies there seeing no-one is ever there. You can get a feel for what GCD suits you and how you can trick GHT. Personally, like I said above. I load up GHT, then I'll set my GCD to a certain number. Then I spam Battleshout until I bust myself to see what sort of GCD's it is picking up. I may change my GCD right then and there if it is so low that GHT will pick it up straight away.

I will then keep trying to bust myself until I find the GCD that I am happy with. After I have found the GCD I want to use I spam battleshout another 4 times or so. This way, when I do something like a raid or PvP, I will pick myself up before anyone else does. And If I do bust myself. I simply log off and set the GCD higher again.
