Brief Review of HonorBuddy

HB is not a bot that requires lots of profiles. 1-60 is 1 profile for each faction. If you have a nightelf toon or undead, you will do 1-10 on a profile and then move for 10-60. 58-70 and 68-80 are also 1 profile for each faction.

So because no-one needs extra profiles, no-one makes them.

My honest opinions about this bot,

When the first time I found out this bot during it's beta phases I was kind of impressed. It did what it said, however there were plenty of bugs that hindered it (for ex. targeting didn't always work).

Now with the kind-of official version (I've only used trial, reason below) it seems to be a lot more stable, but what it now needs is polish and additions (I think possibility for questing is being worked on?) - and it is partly implemented through plugins already, however there ain't that many plugins yet, and because of the level 20 limit I haven't really been able to try out eTrain for example.

Shit is good. However as I am forced to quit wow for a while now (army, sucks) but definitely picking this one up later this year if it's still alive. And it's cheap.

Well I got around to trying this bot the past few days... I've been out of the bot game since openbot went offline and I really didn't expect much.

So far I LOVE this bot. There are a few things that bug me. The custom classes could use some work as could the interface/options. But bot wise its great! I have not tryed to make my own profiles yet but from what I can tell the mesh system in this is far better than openbot was, and leaps and bounds better than glider (i never tryed ppather).

The pvp side of things really depend on your class, ranged seems to do fine but melee are little retarded. Again I know this has to do with the custom classes and I really hope some people that are smarter than me take the time to make some progress with those.

Overall, Best 22$ I've spent on WoW in a year. Thanks for your review Kurios.. I used your referal link ^^

Just botted my mage from 74 to 80 in about 4 days (8 hours a night) and it really seems to kick ass. Not even a single whisper yet. I wont say which profiles I use but they are made all by 1 individual . Amazing. All I can say. I bought the RAF version also. So I run 5 clients at a time.

Read the manual you obviously didn't and forgot to enable click to move in the options.

bought this to level a mage up
experiences so far - i have never ever used a bot before

very straight forward, nice community @ the honorbuddy forums
in PVP being a mage, only in AV so far but it would seem to an outsider as if I was just a noob-ish player.
in PVE it seems to be quite nice, even though ive heard mages are one of slowest classes to level via bots

ive delved into the custom classes a bit, and even without and prior knowledge of the scripting, i have successfully customised the mage class to be frostfire, fixed some things that i wanted to operate differently and it works brilliantly

next step for me will be to start creating own profile and meshes, and with the amount of guides and info on the forums it should be easy

Improvements:
*It's now possible for cc devs to cast AoE spells that require a leftclick with 'SpellManager.ClickRemoteLocation(WoWPoint location);'
*Better RaF logic, if the leader is a levelbot it will wait for the zombie when resting, looting or if it get's too far away and if any of the party members are dead.
*If it fails to set the RaFLeader to the group leader it will use your target if it's a valid player
*Party leader will now wait for followers to get in range
*Better targeting for RaF, mainly the levelbot if you run it with a party
*Taking instance portals and accepting/leaving battleground shouldn't crash HB anymore
*Some improvements to the movement in general

How to report a problem with Honorbuddy:
1. Close HB and delete the log folder.
2. Re-run to get the problem back.
3. Click on [b] "Additional Options..." [b] as you post.
4. Attach the log for today from your Honorbuddy folder and tell us what time to look at in the log.
5. If WoW crashed, look in the Errors subfolder of your wow folder.
6. A text of last crash cause is there with the exact time of the crash. Attach that text as well.
