Is it detectable by Warden at all?
You are editing wow stuff, there is a risk of getting banned.

    Thank you Zlobr

Custom login screen does not give you any advantage in gameplay against other players. So afaik its "safe" to use it. Imho no one was banned for this yet.
Note that there is "use at your own risk" label - just for case.

Anyway you can find more info here: [Answer] Is Model Editing Bannable

It shouldnt be banable, since you just add a MPQ file to the WoW/Data path

Ok Ive tried this and get nothing. Nothing as in it wont even start up. I have java installed. It acts as if it attempts to start but then just fails. Do you have to have a certain version of java installed?

Happened to me once too...simple PC restart fixed it.

    This could also work:

Sorry about that...dunno whats wrong (probably some java issue )...
    ========================================================

So with big help from dobrMAN (testing+suggestions) i made new (hopefully final) version.

    DOWNLOAD v3.0
    mirror

This version should work for ANY WoTLK client version (so if it didnt work before its right time to try again ) and it also supports Win/Mac/Linux now.

    Enjoy!

The new version works. But in the folder there is two .jar files. The one that says wowbgtweaker_v3.0jar wont work.

Again this new version seems to be working. Thanks again. I use to like the dragon but after a while it got so freakin annoying and all the mods at wowinterface that could change it are broke.

I have just tested it and it works fine for me...

Just make sure you dont have your music (options->sound->music) and speakers turned off.

So far no1 had problems with sound...only with background (which is fixed now).
