    [Challenge] Multiple routes for botting

So this is my idea of a new level of botting realism:

RED indicates A, the start point.
BLUE inticates B, the target point.
    BLACK AREA inticates, forbidden/off limits.

The big deal is to prevent the predictible waypoint round after round and thus looking less suspicious to other players.
That means that the bot will randomly select a route from A down to B.

So to you programmers out there, this is a hell of a challenge to you!
If it hurts, you might doing it wrong.

Wouldn't it be easier if more time was spent on waypoints, insted of focusing on small routes where the obvious bot patrols round, create one that takes you 30mins of walking about entire zones. It'll vastly reduce the chance of being seen as a bot as your not staying within the same place for long other than to kill nearby mobs.

Our main area of interest was battleground farming to reduce the risk of being detected as a bot. Either several waypoint routes selected randomly at start or a complete map with random routes.

a navmesh for pathfinding will always choose the shortest route Anyways, perhaps it would be better to not just have like 1 single target? i remember openbot, it had like several diffrent goals it would switch between in bgs...That being said, it sucked on AV

Not always true. Use a random weight per region and you have a fairly 'randomized' path every time.

Also @ OP; http://svn.open-bot.info/obls/Optimi...bjects/oBG.iss what do I win?

Never knew that you where a dev from the OB Team Apoc.
Too bad that there is no isxwow anymore, OB was one of the best Scripts/Bots for Lavish.
