I used to put similarly ridiculously clueless code into my VB6 scripts 10 years ago. I don't know what's more childish though - threatening people with DOS attacks (seriously, is that the best you could think of - in this day and age?), or putting such ridiculous code to protect a program that probably has about 200 lines of code. Suddenly I feel really old.

By making my computer unusable he's effectively executed a Denial Of Service attack. I'd just be returning the favor. Yes, playing "an eye for an eye" is childish, but it's the only way to get through to a child.

If it isn't open source, and it isn't going to harm your PC upon running it, it does not matter. Who is going to decompile it anyways? If it isn't open source don't touch the code.

Because some of us like to check applications to make sure they're safe and not doing anything malicious (LIKE DELETING BOOT.INI!!).

Most western countries uphold reverse engineering as legal, Jadd has no right to attack my computer just for reverse engineering his product.

Anti-anti-'theft' is one thing, like packing it, obfuscating it, etc. But doing something malicious is not an anti-theft device, it's just being a dic. And when you do shit like delete system files from people's computers, you're going to get yourself into a big puddle of shit that you probably don't have the shoes for.
