Hi @ all maybe i can solve your problem with your Outfitter.
First of all i have to say that my english isnt that nice and it´s realy hard to translater the german tasks from my pc into english.
So some say it simply crashes.
My intention is that´s because of "Data Execution Prevention"
Normaly you cant deactivate the whole Data Execution Prevention and you system wont be that save as bevore.
So you could try to alow it just for outfitter.
Fallow my steps:

Start -> Panel/System Settings -> Enhanced System Settings -> The you got some tabs on your top window go to Extendet -> There chose Performance und then you can chose the tab for "Data Execution Prevention".

Normaly you could allow windows vista to allow to open Outfitter... in my case it doesn´t worked so... you can leave it at that. OR you deaktivate it completely.

ATENTION: I won´t suggest it to deaktivate it, or at least under your own responsibility.
Your system may be injured by trojans or what the heck....

But here is a simple way how you can do it anyway

Open your Command line as admin and type in "bcdedit /set nx AlwaysOff"
then restart your system
To return it to normal settings just type in "bcdedit /set nx OptOut"

DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

My suggestion is that Robske "JUST" redesign or make it viable to vista without doing this risky step....
i don´t know how it could be done.

Absoloutely nothing happens before I press the button..

I: >Run as Admin > The program window pops up > I press the "From Player" button, or any other button for that sake > And I get the "Outfitter has stopped working." message.

I can check/uncheck boxes, write stuff in the searchfield but when I press any buttons the "Has stopped working" message pops up... Really frustrating

Gonna try the .net framework and see what happens...

Negative. Re-installed .net using the cleanup tool first and removing all versions... and then installed 3.5... Doesn't work... Crashes same.

Instal net 3.5 SP1 for me working.

This may be a stupidquestion that is very easilly solved but every time i try to import gear from chacter or from target or try yo update gear i get a message in the box saying "Accessing ObjectManager... Failed
Exception thrown: Not all privileges or groups referenced are assigned to the caller"
I also have wow running when this happens.

Please help and it looks great
