As of VM-Ware workstation 6.5, or VM-Ware Player 2.5 both 3d acceleration and unity mode work in windows and linux hosts. (3d acceleration support limited to 32-bit xp guests)

If you want to make your own guests, as well as edit them and so forth you will need the entire Workstation. You can download the Trial version of workstation then go to Help -> Enter Serial Number.

I run my bot in a dual core 4.8(2.4 per core) system with 512 ram, however it works fine for me with a single 2.4core.

Last time I checked, glider didnt support 64 bit.

Warez and... what's so special about unity mode? You're still running glider in your VM.

Doesn't support, works, but you can't use shadow driver, wich makes it less safe.

If your using glider in 64bit, then you arn't using the shadow driver.

So erm, to the op:

Any idea/tips on improving wow performance through a VM? I've got it installed and running so i can bot with zolofighter and still do other stuff on my pc, but aside from the graphics/models being buggy, i get a max of 8 fps no matter what i do :\

Dual core 3.35ghz/4gb ram/ 2xgts 512 so i can handle vmware no problem, just wondering if there are any settings i could change for vmware itself, as all the game settings are minimum.
