When WoW is already running then I start Yawr I get this Error.
Was "unable to load MPQ files"
"You probably didn't configure 'yawrconfi.ini'"

I have tried many forms of the directory for it to locate the MPQ files but no luck

I tried all those in the yawrconf.ini but no luck

C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Data
C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft
C:\Users\Public\Games

I have set Yawr to admin rights but no luck, keep getting the same message.

*When I start Yawr before opening WoW I get the error to set to admin rights. But I already set it to admin rights.

There must be an "\" at the end. For your path this should work:

SET wowdir "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\"

It absolutely does.

In fact, it also will scan for and announce (via a sound and a small, flashing icon) when designated herbs/veins are detected, which is infinitely better than straining your eyes at the minimap for hours on end.

No, I copied one of my WoW-Installations from another PC too and it works fine.

YAWR uses these MPQs: "locale-xxXX.MPQ" and "patch_xxXX_mpq"
Where xxXX is the language you set with ...

yawrconf.ini:
SET language "enUS"

... so this error can pop up if the language is incorrect. The Letters "enUS" may be case-sensitive. dunno. If you are not sure what to write in this line open:
F:\World of Warcraft\wtf\Config.wtf with wordpad or another texteditor and find the line:

Config.wtf:
SET locale "xxXX"

xxXX are the letters for the installed language.

It's possible that, just as with almost every hack, they're operating under a delayed-ban system...but I still feel that this is low-risk as far as most hacks go. That said, if you're concerned about the safety of this program, do as the author says and take steps to isolate your other accounts from the one you're using hacks on.

I've used several radars for over a year without ever catching a ban, but it's always a possibility.
