What's the meaning of the thread? You changed the icon file?

Right click icon/shortcut -> Properties -> Change Icon. Just grab sum .ico files from DeviantArt (Customization -> Icons -> OS -> Windows. :nuts:

Question: Why did you make them in AutoIT? Why just swap the icons?
Answer: Thought itd be easier for me just to do it the autoit way

Question 2: The launcher is 2.31Mb and the WoW.exe is 12Mb. How come your 'files' are 364 to 372Kb. 3Mb for 10 files?
Answer: There are multipule wowa.exe's and launcher1-5.exe's in the zip file.

Maybe Blizz should employ you as you can streamline code so effectively........ 12Mb into 374kb is damn impressive!

How to set these up?


Choice A. *Launcher.exe*

1) Drag one of the Launcher's from the Launcher.exe folder into your world of warcraft Folder

2) After dragging the Launcher.exe into your World of Warcraft Folder delete your old launcher.exe

3) Create a shortcut to the new Launcher.exe and enjoy

Also when I try to decompile (using Exe2Aut v3) the 'AutoIT' *.exe I'm getting "Error: The executable file is not recognised as a compiled AutoIT script."

Right click ur wow icon, go to properties and change the icon?

DLed one of the icons and used it. Much easier :P

I don't know much about the launcher it self, but I'm pretty sure that Blizzard have added a lot of junk into it, security stuff and so on. (:
