Thank you for this great bot, but I have exactly _one_ problem. If I enable "Use Lure", the bot crashes after "Casting Pole" immediately. If I disable it, and start botting, everything works well. It casts poles, it catches fishes, etc pp. I "dirty" hacked this myself with a simple macro instead of only putting my spell into the defined slot, which apply my lures right before casting the spell. I have Vista 64, running MrFishIt in WinXP SP2 compat mode and administrator credentials.

    Tuesday

Will this still work when the WoW US servers come up? I've been doing it like crazy worried about this happening so I tried to make as much money as possible but with any luck it will still work!

A little question: may you built in that if somebody whispers you, and especially it's a GM, you could popup a windows notification bubble at the tray icon and maybe, play a sound file? I think this would be awesome. Anyways, hiding windows rocks, especially at work :>

    Inserty ..

*** Make sure you have NET FrameWork 3.5 installed***

Make sure you have your Rod, Lure, and "Fishing skill" buttons "ON" an action bar, also .. make sure that your keybindings reflect where said buttons are on your action bar, so 1 - rod, 2 - lure, 3 - fishing skill.

Make sure that MrFishIt keybindings also correspond with said bindings.

click the "?" button on the bottom right, and "okay" on the screen that pops up.

In the window on the left "after you close the popup window" it should say something like (wowid:xxxx) Highlight that line, and click the button that looks like a fish.

    If all else fails.

    1. Put fishing skill button in first slot of action bar.

    2. Set keybindings, in both MrFishit, AND Wow.

    3. Eqquip rod and Lure manually.

    4. Refresh, and select your WowID.

    5. Click Fishy button.

    6. Skill up.

You have to keep in mind that you are having MrFishit "Click" the buttons for you.. that is all it is doing in "laymans" terms. So you have to make sure that Wow, and MrFishit both understand EXACTLY where said button it located.

Took me a while to figure this out as well.

Thanks a TON! Got my character from 305 fishing to 450 over the course of a few days (and got all the coins from the Dalaran fountain!), and spent a few hours fishing in Northrend. Sold all the fish for over a thousand gold. Nice for my tailor/enchanter to have a source of income!

I did notice a few crashes, but noticed that these rarely happened if my WoW was not hidden, and the bot was not minimized. Not sure if it's related though.
