[EPIC][MAC] Run windows games on Mac

I searched and couldnt find anything just like this, there was a post about glider and emu hacker but w/e.
Hey, This is a post to show you how to run windows games on mac, or any other windows program on mac.

Ok, so 1st go to Windows Applications Seamlessly Integrated on Mac OS X - CrossOver Mac and download CrossOver, a program that takes windows programs and turns them into mac.

Now download any windows file, lets say another game, like.... Dofus ( i dont like it but w/e and i know they have a ac version, but its just an example ) after you download it, go to create new bottle and hit download new programs search for your download then hit start install, after its done installing, there you go, you've got a windows game running on a mac.

Message me on MSN for more help, my screen name is [email protected]

I remember this taking quite a while.
Thank you for uploading it, though

This is a nice little application, but I prefer the non-game version though.

Sadly, this has quite a few problems and don't expect to run any of the "interesting" games.
When testing this a couple months back I could run GW, but at pretty low frame-rates with minimum settings. And GW is one of the "supported" games :P

But its still good for smaller games/applications.

I can't confirm because I no longer have a Mac, but since OSX is Unix based, I believe Wine works as well. Crossover (for Linux) used to cost money. Wine is free.

I've got a Mac using friend trying Wine, so hopefully I can confirm it soon.

I can confirm that on a Linux box of mine (running Ubuntu Hardy Heron) that WoW runs in Wine with no problems and I've also gotten OpenBot to work.

NICE! There is also a program called "Darwine" which is 100% free and runes the MES, although it only works with the Item swaps. As the Mac aint got a MEF Working yet! ( I am trying to knock one up )

Unfortunately my Macs are the older lines and not the Intel ones :[

I would love to use this for my current macs. Why not boot up into windows if you just wanna play games?

use wine, it's free and easy to compile on mac aswell, just install the gcc and then you should be able to compile wine without any problems :-)
