ehm, i don't really think it can hide like you said. You will still find it in the process tree, maybe not under the name of what the bot is called, but mspaint etc. So you can't really hide it, you can never hide a program like that. Always a way to find it. I am pretty sure if it has no protection warden will pick it up quite quickly.

Exactly, if it didnt have a protection against warden wouldnt it had been taken off the charts for botting? Wouldnt Warden auto detect and have u banned right away?

warden does NOT scan for processes..if that was the case glider would be gone easily, and so would wowinfinity.

Oh yeah okay, but its been safe for quite awhile now. And they haven't been able to do much with warden only with patches.

Anyway..

Warden also was "quite safe for awhile" until 20th May as most of mmowned's users most likely can remember, id be cautious about this one.

Yes, Warden has the ability to scan for processes it just doesn't do it very often, also there is a thread about this somewhere and it pretty much explains why wowmimic didn't get banned, each bot sends stuff through differently, Warden has to know what these packets (?) Look like, it seems Openbot and glider were looked into and banned as they were by far the 2 biggest, Wowmimic is relatively small compared to these two, I'm telling you know if Blizz decided to ban all wowmimic users they would with no problems whatsoever.

Sorry but warden doesn't scan by processes though, also the worse things that have happened to wowmimic users awhile back was 3 day bans.

Warden can read from other processes, though from what i've seen lately. The scans for such have been dormant.
However, warden cannot determine if another process is reading from WoW. (This requires a driver for a system wide hook)

When i refer to the WoW Memory Space i mean memory in the WoW process.

To all of you idiots saying UG doesn't know what he's talking about. Take a step back, and re-read his post. 90% of it is spot on. (And wowpanda, Zolofighter can easily be detected if Blizzard decides to scan for it. Windows priv's or not. You're taking Warden completely for granted.)

And to clear up some mistakes in UG's post. ISXWarden itself was created by Lax, however, the start of the Warden protection was from maytricksmath in the original open source version of ISXWoW. (Pre BC versions)

benny32, server side detection is obviously 100% guesswork. (Unless you're a dev for Blizzard, or a GM) However, based on quite a bit of data, alot of conclusions have been found. (Just search around some of the major forums, I'm sure you'll see some valid conclusions)

valiliv, you don't quite understand what you're talking about either. Blizzard can, and probably will take actions on auto-it bots in the near future. (They can easily start process scanning again, which will pretty much screw all the other public bots available) Most of the "small time" bots (small time in comparison to Glider/IS based bots that is) are not currently worth Blizzard looking at, since their userbase is probably within the 10k range. (Glider + IS is somewhere around 150k+ easily.) Also, the 5/20 banwave, was NOT FROM WARDEN. I don't know how many times I need to explain this. Warden had not changed. Period. They implemented some extra code within the binaries themselves (the exe/dll's for those of you who don't know what "binaries" are) which caught everyone. Something they hadn't done since 2.0.1 IIRC.

Also, UG's statement on "the longer you bot, the higher chance you have to get banned" is absolutely true. If you bot for 5 minutes, your chance of a player report is next to none. So that's one way of banning out the window. Chances of a GM seeing you actually bot is also next to none. Another one out the window. Detection however, stays the same no matter how long. So do the math.

Anybody who says their bot will "remain undetected" is ignorant of what they're up against. Please do some actual research before posting things that aren't true, and deceiving the public.

Warden is not currently scanning processes, but it can start again at anytime and catch WoWMimic users and autoit users and anything else they want.

fact: using third party programs to help you advance in the game without the help of a real person playing, is bannable. Unless someone has a warden fix (start wow without warden to turn off detection) I recommend not hacking over getting banned (that is if you are planning on using bots/hacks 24/7 for a long time)

what happens after you use the 4 hour key? do you have to pay $12/month then? yuk

and yeah this is safe as long as Blizzard ignores it. The second they decide to ban wowmimic users you will see a big banwave and all users who use it will be banned. It could take 1 week, it could take 6 months, you just don't know how long. Its probably fine for a quick weekend of AV or botting, but the longer you use it the bigger your risk.
