It's only the downloader, not the client itself, so don't be worried about the file size

I'm afraid there's no way to gain access to the beta without getting your hands on a beta key, be it from the opt-in invites, competitions/giveaways or otherwise as all the account stuff is done server-side

There will probably be some WotLK Beta Private servers around soon, if there aren't already, so they will have to do if you aint lucky enough to get a key.
