Not sure if you're planning to make your own bot or not but you can always join the PPather team.

PM me if you want in.

Right now I don't have any plans for my own bot. I'd like to make the nav as open as possible to be able to work with anybody's setup.

Ideally the dataset it generates will be very very detailed and basic. From that dataset (say points and connections) a person could write any type of refinement they wanted. If their bot required regions that were all hexagonal for example, they should be able to write a post-processor to hand that.

I do greatly appreciate the offer to join the PPather team, but with my real life work schedule it's very hard for me to collaborate on projects. I may get a week to work on the nav daily, and then hit a busy spell where I'm gone for a few weeks.

Well SVN has been updated with quite a huge change. Complete rewrite to make the entire thing much more manageable and theres also been a console added. Thought I'd drop a note here for those that don't hit up the RSS feed.
