There are some odd similarities in the Q&A sections of Glider and God Mod.
The one that is especially alike, and the most important is this:
Glider
Q: How do I know you won't steal my password?
A: With any software installation, there's no way to be sure. If you think we'd go to all the trouble of building this application and easily-identified web site just to steal your password and get all your felweed, then don't download it.
God Mod
How do I know you won't use my credit card or keylog me and steal my password?
As an SSL certified site we offer secure checkout and don't store your credit card number. Legal implications aside, if you think we went to the trouble of building a sophisticated product and running a reputable business with the most reputable merchant and SSL vendors on the web just to break in to your character and steal your Netherweave, don't buy it.
So what does this mean? I think it means that God Mod may be trying to subliminally remind you of that glider you may own in order to establish themselves in your minds as a safe program.
Why does this matter? I personally believe that Stat Hacking is possible, but these people are just trying to copy glider to steal your account info.
