Manage bots seamlessly at work/school

So you're at work, and...bored, wondering "hey, my glider probably dinged...wish I could change profiles. Or maybe you want to repair him and empty your bags.

There are a few programs that can do this, but tbh, most of them are tricky to set up, or your work/school firewall has the ports blocked.

Here is where logmein.com comes in. It is a remote desktop utility...MOSTLY used for remote meetings and work utility, guaranteeing that your work won't have it blocked! And it only requires that you install the app on your home box, the work computer just needs to log in at the site for desktop access.

It is 100% free for the remote desktop parts, and stupidly easy to set up and...although slow it works really well for remedial wow tasks.

One thing you need to make sure and turn off the mirror driver setting and set it to activex browser, all manageable through the preferences menu.

did a search, this site has never been mentioned. This has been working out great for me. Gotomypc won't run video , and gliderremote was a blocked port at my work. Just wanted to contribute.

Freezes my WoW On my glider computer but works fine on my main computer, and my glidermonitors work fine so meh.

Most schools block everything except applications and some .exe's for BIT classes... don't see how this will work

it's just a website, at the school, not a program.

as long as the ports for IE / firefox are unblocked, this will work...assuming your schools firewall has this unblocked.

lol, thought I had it working but I'm having problems with WoW just being a blank black screen.... i can see the WoW mouse-hand, but no picture =/ any ideas? i'm on a mac still

This happens to my botting computer as well, it's a bit older, I think it is b/c of it having to hook DirectX. This freezes my WoW up rendering it useless so I don't use this on my compy when I'm botting.

you have to go into remote connect settings and turn off the "mirror driver" option.

Also make sure the browser setting option is set to activex.

You'll need to use firefox for this as well, if you're not already.

Well, even though this happened beforehand, I would not suggest using logmein at school. If anything happens at school, you'll be rocketted up to the top of the list for suscpicion like I was. Got into a bad situation involving the police, and they almost had to take my computer away.

Meh I wouldn't be concerned with it personally, if your school uses websense, and it says it's blocked if you just type in logmein.com, try just typing "log me in", in the address bar and it should take you there, well at least it does for me.
