As this site has many bots on it, and generally encourages botting, I feel that the people here shouldn't/won't report the bots. The bots are probably damaging the economy though.

I don't have much to say about this, i thought it would be quite common to have these kinds of networks and i don't play WoW anymore..
But i couldn't resist to post the typos i found, sorry !

'Damaging the economy', what a stupid phrase, it's completing opinionated.

One side it that it makes other botters / farmers less gold, and on the other side it makes said valuables cheaper for people who are not farmers.

Who cares. If blizzard really wanted to stop bots it would be very simple. Bot users pay for an account (most of the time) and blizz has shown they rarely ban anymore. If you want to see 5-6 bots farming 24/7, visit Mt Hyjal and the acendants rise. I've reported several of them and they are still there. One leaves and is quickly replace by another. Since the area is cross realm good luck trying to beat all the bots to quest items. Have fun with bots. I like to wait when the bot is about to attack and get in a tag. The bot kills it for you. Move on and keep doing this makes for fun having the bot farm for you. Some bots can be killed if you MC the mob just before they attack. I did this once and the bot ended up following me..I drag it to a fire and position so it sat in the fire until dead. Its fun to **** with bots.

Bots supply players with mats they are too lazy to farm themselves. Make it so players can send out minions to farm mats like SWTOR. If they wanted to stop bots it would be simple to make a ninja patch each day changing important memory locations. The major bot players like Shadow bot and Pocket Gnome seem to take at least 24 hours or sometimes more to patch their programs to work with new memory locations. Imagine having to dig through code each day..not fun and would piss of your user base. I just don't think its high on blizz priority to stop a paying base of bot users..It doesn't seem to be a problem. I know I'm used to them being all over and don't even pay attention anymore.
