Wow, that sucks. I was really looking forward to the archaeology and the guild reward things. Its like saying Christmas is coming twice this year, then a month before leaking that you only get stocking stuffers.
There will still be archaeology.
From *************."Archeology will be less important
With the Path of the Titans gone, Archeology will become a "true" secondary profession and you won't really have to level it anymore. However it will still be used to let you get cosmetic/optional items, get more information on the game's lore, and ultimately it looks like we can expect rewards similar to fishing. (Nothing mandatory, but you'll be happy when you actually find something)"
One of the most interesting things I looked forward too in cataclysm was the guild talent trees, and it's quite sad to see it given up.
This may mean NO MASS RESURRECTION... Nuuu
This just ****ed everything upaltho GC has pretty good points about the guild talent points.
/sigh
Been looking forward to guild talents and PoT :/
Path of the titans, archeology, guild talents...That was really good idea, thats a shame that they wont be in game
I'm a little disappointed to hear this, hopefully they'll have something else in store for us. Thanks for the heads up aphel.
This isn't an actual leak, so I'm confused as to why you keep saying it as such. It was a press event Blizzard hosted and the NDA to release such information expired Sunday at 12am.
I'd agree, Shammy. Blizz may add them back in after a few patches or something...who knows. -Nara
The first two things are disappointing, although I like the rest.
Wow... I agree, Blizzard are just too lazy :/
So basically its an ingame model edit :P- The Path of the Titans idea has been scrapped, and has been replaced with "medium glyphs". These glyphs will not do anything other than give cosmetic affects, such as changing the color of your spells, the appearance of your abilities, etc.
I'm fine without the path of the titans, just one more thing that elitists would need you to perfect before you're invited to a group.
