This will allow you to create a Windows services for Windows applications and some 16-bit applications (but not for batch files).
This guide is for Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 3) by me.
Step 1. Start > Run > cmd
(Note the space between binPath=<space goes here>“C:\Path - MUST be there, or the service will fail to be created.)
Type the following to create the services to start up your Server upon bootup:
Step 2. <path already here>sc create “Arcemu logonserver” binPath= “C:\Path to Arcemu-logonserver.exe”
Step 3. <path already here>sc create “Arcemu world” binPath= “C:\Path to Arcemu-world.exe”
Removing the Service: (if you decide you don’t like it starting up everytime you reboot automatically)
Step 1. Start > Run > cmd
Step 2. Type: <path already here>sc delete “Service name here” (i.e: arcemu-logonserver.exe)
Controlling the services: (if you need to reboot/restart your server)
<path already here>sc start “Service name here” (i.e: arcemu-world.exe)
<path already here>sc stop “Service name here” (i.e: arcemu-world.exe)
