[Guide] How to Not Lose Elo when Queue dodging.

Greetings one and all,


Long time MMowned lurker, first time poster, yada, yada, yada.


Anywho, this trick is very straight foward and simple, and I expect it to get patched pretty fast, it works 100%, although you will sometimes get a 5 minute wait timer.



Step 1) Be in champion Select
Step 2) Team locks in Revive Promote Eve, twitch and Karthus, Oh now, troll team, gonna lose elo etc.
Step 3) Control Panel --> Network and Internet --> View network Status and Tasks --> Change Adapter settings --> Disable ''Local Area Connection 1'' (Basically just turning off your internet for a minute, yes, it's that easy) make sure you disconnect ATLEAST 30 seconds before the game starts.
Step 4) Game's about to start, but oops, you're not connected, so it boots everyone out of champion select, and requeues them, apart from you, because you're not connected.
Step 5) After 2-5 minutes, log back in, and requeue, with 0 elo lost.

Step 6) Queue dodge every bad team you get, and inflate your elo super high, congratz, you earned it!

Well it works, and there's no other post, so this is a valid exploit. Use it while you can!

So you're saying, if I disconnect the internet on my computer - the game server will recognize that my internet went out and wouldn't deduct elo from me because I didn't que dodge but just DC'd? Hmmm interesting. Next.

Indeed, Punishment is being removed, still, it was nice while it worked.

However, this can still be used to some extent.

When you dodge with the new system, you lose no elo, BUT you have to wait 15 mins to requeue, this will allow you to requeue almost instantly (As soon as you relog)

6-17-2012 Patch Notes.

Dodging a Ranked Game will no longer result in loss of Elo but the time before you can join any queue again has greatly increased
